Global Auto Parts Chris $900 dollars paid for a junk engine, with 2 yr warranty, will not honor any warranty or return calls Jacksonville, Florida

Purchased a replacement motor for 1996 toyota camry from Global auto parts. Sales person very firm that motor tested, cleaned and guaranteed for 2 yrs.  Acutally did receive a motor on a partial, beat up, rotten, wood pallet.

Time ran short, so had local mechanic install motor.  While replacing timing belt noticed timing was off by a couple of gear teeth.  Reset timing and installed new belt.  Actually was able to start the motor, but knocked so bad, sounded like diesel.  Longer it ran, the worse it got.  Motor is no good, so mechanics removed the motor again.

Called Chris, at Global Auto Parts.  Told me to put thick oil in the engine.  Did not know what to say. Told him wanted a good replacement engine.  He said no problem.  Have not been able to reach him since, or have had any hint of resolving the issue.
Mechanic fees for removal of existing engine and reinstallation of Global auto parts damaged engine near $3000.  Will have to do it all again, with someone else's good engine.
