My dad took out a policy on his fiancee at the time in March of 2010. She was a healthy woman but, as with all insurance policies, it was taken out as a worst case scenario. In October of 2011 she passed away in her sleep. She took a pain medication for a bruised rib that did not work with her blood pressure medication and her heart stopped. My father sent all the paperwork globe life asked for, sometimes multiple times. Weeks turned to months with more paperwork being requested. After 9 months of back and forth and multiple phone calls we were sent a rejection letter.

Globe life claimed they only went back 3 years in medical history but had to go back 8 years to find a reason not to pay out. They flat out told my father he should have known about everything in her past, accused him of lying on the enrollment paper work(which was nothing more than a post card), and said had my father not lied to them they never would have accepted the policy. According to the company, there is no medical test required so how could he have lied? When you meet someone you don't ask for a detailed medical history so why should he know something 8 years old? This company is nothing but a scam and needs to be put out of business.
