Wish I had checked this website first before I paid these people for an ad to sell my vehicle.

The sales rep, if that is what he truly was, phoned me about my AutoTrader ad, I think his name was Devon. He told me greatcarsandtrucks.com is primarily into financing vehicle purchases and the AutoTrader caters to the dealers. He told me about the guarantee and also told me that by simply placing an add, greatcarsandtrucks.com would share my listing with a database of interested buyers, leading me to believe, there were people waiting in the wings to call me. He also pitched the 90 day money back guarantee.

I paid for my ad on the 17 May 2006 and as of today, the 25th of May 2006 ... no listing ... no ad ... no nothing. I noticed that there are 43 x 2003 Ram 1500 trucks listed on the website. I doubt that my vehicle will be any higher of a priority to sell than any of the others.

On 18 May 2006, I called Devon, told him my ad was not posted yet and he said it usually takes 4 days ... it has now been 8 days and no ad.

So ... after 8 days ... absolutely NO CUSTOMER SERVICE. I administer a web site at work and can update the site with individual page entries in a matter of minutes, there is no excuse for 8 DAYS.

Also of interest, from website point of view, this website does not appear through normal search words that one would use to find vehicles, so the bottom line is your vehicle will require a lot of time to sell IF ANYONE CAN FIND THE WEBSITE !!!!!

I have sent numerous emails to the "CONTACT US" address which have ALL bounced back as undelivered.

Another point of interest is that there is NOT A SINGLE TESTIMONIAL from a SELLER on this website. All I have found in my research are complaints.

When my wife looked at the web site tonight, she recognized the web page layout to be identical to BargainRaiders.com, which was owned by a fellow by the name of Creg who took my wife $500 on a web site listing for her business. Incidentally, that web site no longer exists and has disappeared ... probably from undelivered promises. Here we have greatcarsandtrucks.com with the same website layout ... coincidence ... NOT! ... and the same situation ... no customer service.

In hindsight, the sales pitch was great, is sure got my attention, this company is a 10/10 for sales pitch and 0/10 for customer service and probably 0/10 for sales record and 0/10 for seller testimonials, I think these four criteria ratings tell the complete story. BUYER BEWARE ... IT SOUNDS TOO GOOD TO BE TRUE ... AND IT IS!!!!
