NuCen-tury Inc. is the old GSA 1000 or GSA Preview or Federal Suppliers, etc.  Again, they have changed their name! DO NOT DO BUSINESS WITH NuCen-tury Inc. either because again, they have started a new company under yet a new name!! I will definitely now contact someone within GSA to determine how can we stop this business from scamming more small businesses. This is getting so ridiculous. I paid them $6500.00 to assist me wiht the GSA paperwork and submission and I went through 4 reviewers (each supposedly quit).  After and only after reporting them to the BBB, did they start working on my papework.  I had to take over the paperwork and submit it to GSA.  I should be getting approved shortly!

I am going to personally make it my business to try and shut this company down.  When I get approved by GSA, I am going to try and find the right person to talk to in GSA to determine how best to stop this company from sending emails that appear to come from a government entity, etc.  They fool us small businesses into thinking they are a govt. entity but then further down into the email that state they are a private company but their name fools you!

ALL, (go to the National Association of Government contractors) and purchase their $29.99 GSA CD (((link redacted))) (copy and paste this line) It provides the docs required to get your GSA started, etc. They will also assist you for a small fee if you run into trouble. Or use another reputable company. DO NOT SPEND ONE DIME WITH GSA PREVIEW/GSA 1000/Federal Suppliers Guide or whatever new name they come up with next month to get away from their bad names!!! You will lose your money! They spend more time calling and trying to get new business and not taking care of the business that they have! Also, you do ALL THE WORK!!! They simply feed you papers and no instructions or helpful hints or ANYTHING!!! I don't know why I paid $6500!!! To simply give them info that i complete with no instructions or help!!! Someone made the suggestion below which I copied from another posting and this suggestion is a good one!! Go to Florida's Attorney General website: http://myfloridalegal.com and click on consumer protection and the file a complaint form. If enough people complain, the Attorney General will investigate them but enuf people must complain! It has been a year and they still will not return my money or calls, etc. The BBB is a joke! They are obviously friend with this company! An employee was actually rude to me! She told me they dont even place the complaint on their website until they can state whether the company tried to resolve it or not. Only after you complain, does GSA Preview or whatever their name is now (NuCen-tury Inc.), will they began to try and do the job just to clear the complaint! It is ridiculous!

Jim Sprecher The Lew Group

AUTHOR: Jim Sprecher - (USA)

POSTED: Sunday, February 05, 2017

Hello,

My name is Jim Sprecher owner of GSA applications or you may know me from Federal Verification Co. Inc in Clearwater, FL.Let me start off by saying thanks to my attorneys for keeping me out of jail, and for showing me how to file bankruptcy so that all the cardholders and past workers can't get there money back and I would also like to thank Pam Bondi's office for taking my check for $250,000. I guess thats what I have to pay in order to make this go away. I gave her office a bribe for my freedom. Now for the rest of you dummies at the I-team, Jackie Callaway AG economic Crimes Unit of Tampa, and the FBI get lost You don't have anything on me and you already know that.Go ahead and put taps on our phones. You amd Pam Bondi's office can't do one thing to stop me from running my companies the way I have been. I am getting more telemarketers, more offices to make more money than I ever have, and why not? No one is going to do anything about it. My office gave you a contract, and if you did not follow that contract then we keep the money, and that's the bottom line. Yes, my family and I live well, real well. For all of you dummies that keep calling our office for a refund, look in the contract you signed. For 2017 this is going to be our biggest year yet for sales. More programs we offer from the government, the more money we make. If anyone would like to talk to me, my number is 727-744-5382.

Now Operating as Government Market Expert (govmarketexpert.com)

AUTHOR: Rick J - (United States of America)

POSTED: Tuesday, February 12, 2013

It probably won't take these folks long to change their business name and domain name after this update, but hopefully it'll save some small business owners some money and hassle in the mean time.

Tampa Bay GSA is now operating as Government Market Expert with the domain: govmarketexpert.com

I don't want to explain how we connected the dots between Government Market Expert and Tampa Bay GSA, to prevent them from better disguising themselves in the future, but everything points to the two entities as being the same group.

I will give them a tip, don't pitch internet marketing firms who can figure out who you are in 3 Google searches or less..!

Just so readers know, our company has not done business with this GSA registry firm, so we cannot attest to prior Rip Off Reports or whether or not they deliver upon their promise. We are simply sharing our discoveries while researching their firm.

nucenturies is not GSA 1000

AUTHOR: Richard H. - (United States of America)

POSTED: Tuesday, April 19, 2011

I was directed to this website by one of my employees who knew that in
2010 we had contracted this company to process our GSA submission. She
sent me this link and asked me what I thought, should we stop using this
company in the future? It was an important question. We already
received our GSA Contract but now we're using them for marketing.

Our business with this company goes back to the summer of 2010 and they
called us out of the blue seeing if we were interested in government
contracts. I reluctantly got on the phone figuring I'd be off in two
minutes. Guess I was in a good mood that day. But the phone call wasn't
what I expected. Iit wasn't the usual bull I got from other companies
pushing GSA schedules. And believe me, these guys werent the only ones
who called me. I must have got 7-8 phone calls from different companies
the past two years. Seriously some of these guys are pushy and full of
it, but this company was different, more human.

I drove the account rep crazy with questions  but she never got
impatient and really took her time to explain everything. I think the
great part was that she didnt oversell. In fact she was kinda
discouraging me at times asking me if my company could really handle the
responsibility of taking on government contracts. Well this went back
and forth for a couple weeks and I decided it made sense to do it on our
own rather than use this company, or any company for that matter.

Well that didn't last long. The girl who works for me went nuts trying
to figure out all the bull the gsa wants in the application. After about
a week she was ready to quit and she's a d**n good employee! So I bit
the bullet and called nucenturies again. And they were nice about it.
Didn't raise the price on me even though I'd driven them nuts, but they
did have a few laughs at our expense for giving up on doing it
ourselves.

I paid them to produce and submit our application. That still wasn't an
easy process. You got a lot of stuff to give them and the Dunn and
Bradstreet stuff was a pain in the butt, but they were real helpful and
there processors did a good job. After less than a month we had the
whole deal ready to go and they submitted it to gsa.

The waiting drove me nuts. The government is slow as hell but thats not
anyone's fault. Just the way things are. After about four months we
finally got notice of something we ended up calling the negotiations.
Basically you have a threeway phone call with your account rep for this
company and the officer from GSA to go over prices and details of the
contract. I was worried about this part because they wanted me to lower
prices which I had already made really low. But we played a little
hardball in the negotiations and it worked. I think this company has a
pretty good relationship with the people from GSA so I guess that didnt
hurt in the negotiations.

Soon after they called us and notified us that we were approved! So now
we're on schedule but not really sure of how to go about getting
contracts. So I called this company and said what now? They gave me over
to a different account rep who specializes in marketing to the
government. I ended up on the phone with this guy for about 90 minutes!

I understood after that. Getting a gsa schedule wasn't enough. We needed
to put ourselves in a position to be noticed otherwise we wouldnt
succeed and it would be a waste of money. I could hire fulltime people
to do my own marketing or I could hire someone. And since this company
treated me right in the application process I decided to stay with them
for the marketing.

Its only been a few months but so far so good. They have showed me how
to locate the bids that made sense for our company. And the business is
starting to come in. Nothing huge yet but its happening and building up.

So I'm not letting this bull report keep me from a business relationship
with this good company. They have always treated me right and I think
other businesses out there need to know the facts rather than what's
claimed in the original report here.

The fact is that this company is not dishonest. Quite the opposite. They
produce what they claim and are still doing it for my business.

Rich

#3 UPDATE EX-employee responds

I can verify Sprecher and more

AUTHOR: David S. - (United States of America)

POSTED: Tuesday, April 12, 2011

Im a former employee of Countryside Publishing and I know lots about Jim Sprecher and his business practices. Everything you see about GSA 1000 is true but worse than you see. They went from Countryside to GSA 1000 to Federal Verification to now GSA Application Services. But it gets much worse.

STAY AWYA. Sprecher's new scams are even more nasty than his old stuff. Believe it or not he's now in the Religion Business. His latest girlfriend is named Stella Collins and she was his secretary before he started cheating on his wife with Stella. He's now in a nasty divorce with his wife Yvonne Shawn the poor girll who he married just to get her name to use and not pay creditors in her name. So he leaves Yvonne for Stella, but now Stella is the name he uses on one of his new companies Creative Concept Group. All of this can be checked out at sunbiz.org by searching the names.

So he's got GSA Application Services and Creative Concepts Group for his normal GSA scams, but Sprecher is moving to new criminal heights. His girlfriend is the owner and registered agent of the Greater Grace Church of Clearwater. Look it up! A church is a non-profit that doesn't pay no taxes so its perfect for Sprecher to launder the money he steals from the other companies he secretly owns.

STAY AWAY! This guy will rob you. I know I used to work there before I could tell what was really happening their. Save your money, stay away from GSA Application Services and his other companies.

Good Try Sharon

AUTHOR: Wiseguy79 - (United States of America)

POSTED: Thursday, December 16, 2010

Hello All,

I would like to start by saying that you won't find a disgruntled employee here (in my post). I worked for this company as a sales person for 2 1/2 years, from Countryside Publishing to GSA 1000 and made quite allot of money. These companies both Countryside Publishing and GSA 1000 along with numerous other businesses are all operated by Jim Sprecher even though they are in others names Like Yvonne Shawn, Phillip Sprecher, Pamela Sprecher, Joe Glennon, Jerry Bertsch etc. You can research all of the companies associated with these individuals at www.sunbiz.org click on search our records and you can search by corporate names and fictitous names, it's interesting to see the links to all these people! Below you will find a list to search for. With all of that being said, let me explain the goal of these companies. A normal ethical operation will only take in as much business as they can handle, other wise you are just dialing for dollars like the Sprechers. The goal is to bring in as many dollars as possible while creating a bottle neck that never gets emptied, just keep completed work trickling out while new business is pouring in. Keep most paid customers in the bottle wearing golden handcuffs which keeps operating cost down and in turn equals BIG PROFITS and DISTRIBUTIONS along with BIG SALARIES for CRONIES while BIG MONEY is collected from unknowing clients (they use very few happy ones as examples to get you to buy). These people are great at covering asses when things start to heat up about not producing work, only then do they spend a little and hire quickly to show they can keep up through smoke and mirrors. I personally know over 150 businesses (home builders, subs and vendors) that were screwed by Countryside Publishing in the end ($500-$40K each). No one calculated the time and cost it would take to complete any project and set it aside from the clients paid in full amount, this creates the bottle neck that pays out BIG. We would collect $10 millionin a year, most of the projects took forever to complete so half the production would be pushed till the next year. When you do this, $5 million is just pocketed (along with profits from the other $5M that was produced) and next year they may or may not have the money to operate, just depends on sales and if they dont, they file bankruptcy and walk away with your millions Business People. They have had some happy customers both at Countryside and GSA 1000 but the percentage was less than 20%. Here are publicly published names and Home addresses of the parties who have interest in these companies. If anyone has been trying to recover money, this information may help.

Fictitous name list:

GSA 1000, GSA Preview, GSA Alliance, GSA Application Services, Federal Suppliers and Buyers Guide, Federal Suppliers Guide etc.

Corporation and LLC names:

Countryside Publishing Company, Countryside Representatives Inc, Printworks Venture Inc , GSA 1000 LLC, Federal Verification Co Inc, Government Verification LLC, Bizbuygov LLC, The Lewisburg Group Inc, Eyes 2 Images Inc, JDS Consulting LLC etc.

Jim Sprecher and Yvonne Shawn:

2256 TONIWOOD LN PALM HARBOR 34685

Pam/Jim/Phillip Sprecher: (lake house, I have no address to the island in Canada!)

201 LAKEVIEW DR TARPON SPRINGS 34689

Joe Glennon:

2703 MICAH DR TRINITY FL 34655

I hope this will help someone decide whether or not to do business with these people. The views and statements made here are beleived to be true and correct to the best of knowledge but are soley opinion based on observation at the end of the day.

Misinformation

AUTHOR: Sharon - (United States of America)

POSTED: Monday, November 01, 2010

It appears this customer, George, had unrealistic expectations of this process. Obtaining a GSA Schedule Award is a time-consuming process that can take up to a year and is comprised of up to 500 pages of documents that the government requires. If "George" was not fully informed about the time and effort involved, he should have been and we take responsibility for that. However, this report is filled with incorrect information, starting with: 1)  NuCen-tury Inc. is NOT part of GSA 1000.  In fact, they are a competitor.  Including them in this negative report is appreciated.  2)  The Contracting Officers at GSA have regularly sent complimentary messages to GSA 1000. Mr. Lovett of GSA Application Svcs received an email from one of the Contracting Officers reading in part, "...Let me compliment you and your consultants for the work you put into this proposal.  It is among the best ones that I have reviewed in my 20 years of negotiating schedule contracts."   3) George says, "They fool us small businesses into thinking they are a govt. entity but THEN FURTHER DOWN INTO THE EMAIL THAT (sic) STATE THAT THEY ARE A PRIVATE COMPANY..."  If the point is to fool businesses, why would we disclose that we are not a govt. entity? In addition, using GSA in the company name is a practice shared by the majority of our competitors.  It simply identifies what we do. 4)  GSA 1000 is the parent company for several divisions that operate under different names. This is neither unethical nor unusual.  Please refer to General Electric, Time Warner, CitiGroup, etc. 5)  The BBB is a venerable, long-standing institution, helping consumers and businesses make informed choices.  Part of the reason for their credibility is the fact that they do not post unsubstantiated complaints against a company without determining whether the target company has made a good-faith effort to satisfy the customer.  This ensures fair reporting for all companies.  And more to the point, GSA 1000 is NOT an accredited member (nor "friend") of the BBB.  The BBB reports on companies whether or not they are members.  So any suggestion of 'collusion' is nonsense.  In conclusion, it will be interesting to find out how "shortly" George gets approved.
