Harvard is a 3rd Party Broker offering 2 legitimate products for sale owned by independent companies ---  LegalShield and Kroll ID Theft.

Harvard does not offer a job. It offers you an opportunity to become an Independent Agent affiliated with Harvard and be in business for yourself.

There is NO COST to become a Harvard Agent, get Trained and Certified to sell their products. Legal Shield requires Agent membership in order to sell their product and receive a commission for each membership sold.

Want to become your own boss and represent Carvel or McDonald's or Krispy Creme, etc? Get ready to fork over hundreds of thousands of dollars or more for a franchise.

Sales is not for everybody. Working as an Independent Agent is not for everybody. Commission only income earned is not for everybody. Being in business for yourself is not for everybody.

Some people like being hired drones, handed a weekly or bi-weekly check by an employer and being told what to do, when to do it, how to do it, etc by overbearing bosses.

The complainers who have posted here should not discourage those who have sales ability, want to sell a legitimate product and be in business for themselves.

If the opportunity isn't for you, acknowledge that fact and move on with your life.

Don't ruin the opportunity for others.

This person from California obviously has deep seeded issues and has been a victim of many job firings.

As a new associate with Harvard Risk Management who went through the vetting process I can tell you this is a straight up operation.  I was also interviewed by Mr. Kandell and found he answered all of my questions and even offered answers I did not think of but was happy to hear.

His explanation of the training was very simple and concise.  It is all done on their website through video streams, period.  He explained that phone interviews are done due to the high volume of responses they have been getting from those looking for a new career but that there would be local associates I could connect with.

The author of the complaint mentioned the Identity Theft Specialist was not visible on the company website.  Since he does not have "Agent Access" he would not be able to see it anyway.  He also mentioned Mr. Kandell giving out the names of trainers.  After hooking up with other Harvard agents, and after reading this complaint article, no one was ever given a 'trainer" name over the phone.

I have zero complaints about Harvard in fact I have been doing very well for a beginner with no real sales experience and found the training to be exceptional.  I have appreciated the support this company offers as I learn the ropes.

You can believe who you want to but I would not put much stock in the rantings of someone who has a bone to pick with life itself.  I did my diligence before joining this company and I was very satisfied.  Before writing anything on a web site, try to get your facts right.
