I received a random phone call about my recent interest in garcinia cambogia, which I had assumed came from something I had clicked accidentally online when I was researching the product. This company claimed to be linked with Dr.Oz and his recommended products for the supplement. Claimed to be offering a "free" trial of the product plus pay you $5 per pound you lost if you were willing to be in their study. Only had to pay shipping. Of course they offered a cleanse supplement as well which brought my total to $29.90. I was told that after two weeks if I didn't cancel it would start to charge my card $89 each month for the three month program and that I would receive an email with the info on how to participate in the study to begin getting paid. Within a week I got my package that included a vile of the liquid pure green garcinia and the bottle of 60 capsules of the the colon cleanse. That was all that was in the package. No papers explaining how to cancel or return the product. Only instructions were the 2 sentences listed in the direction part of the vile and the three sentences listed in the warnings area. I was skeptical and still nursing so the bottles went unopened. Further review into the product (which took EXTENSIVE researching online bc this companies website is nonexistent and this product doesn't seem to exist in Google search engines) I decided it wasnt for me and to try to return in. WRONG. Can't get anyone to agree to take the product without still wanting to charge my card or I get hung up on in the process. I have NEVER been hung up on from a "customer service" number by a legit company. So the two weeks pass and of course a $99.90 charge hits my card. I immediately call to see why it wasn't cancelled and she immediately informs me that my product has already shipped and I'd have to wait to receive it to return it and cancel. I told her that isn't possible when the payment is still pending and that I want my refund now. She informs me payment went through that morning and package shipped that morning and then hangs up on me. I call back, get put on the automatic hold with a wait time of 1 min, then my call gets picked up and hung up on without any words spoken. Call back, same thing. Call back, same thing. So I google their number and see the NUMEROUS posts from this website regarding the exact problems I am having and how this company is a fraud and just hangs up on you when you demand a refund or try to cancel. Thankfully, I had used my PayPal debit card for the initial payment. I immediately called PayPal, told then my situation and they flagged the company. They also immediately cancelled that transaction and refunded my $99.90. I do however have to eat the initial $29.90 bc PayPal claims that bc I have the product, I have to take my return and refund up with them. I am just thankful for the immediate reaction from PayPal and that this company is getting flagged. Please DO NOT buy into their SCAM!
