Heritage Web Solutions - Heritage Internet Technologies - HIT - HIT Web Design is the MOST INCOMPETENT web design/hosting company in the UNIVERSE Internet

The following is the original complaint I filed against HIT Web Design with the Better Business Bureau on-line on 08/08/2009:

"In October of 2007 we first contacted Heritage Web Solutions and hired them to design a website for our company consisting of an extensive database. We were told the website would be completed by January 1, 2008. The website was still not successfully delivered as of June 1, 2009. The website had a security breach on May 11, 2009. We were alerted of this security breach by one of our potential customers browsing the incomplete website. The website had been hacked and the content displayed on the website by the computer hacker consisted of nudity and profane language.

The functions of the website have consistently and repetitively failed to work the way they are supposed to. We cancelled our account because after almost two years the product we purchased still does not work properly. We were told up-front that a refund would be given. We were then told via e-mail that a refund would not be given because so much time had been spent on the website.

Our argument is yes it has taken a long time, but nothing has worked as promised. We spent thousands of dollars having our employees enter information into the database which was never properly functional and is now no longer in our possession. We have also lost thousands of dollars in potential advertisement contracts with various businesses that were supposed to advertise on our website starting in January 2008.

Filing this complaint with the Better Business Bureau is our last resort before taking legal action against Heritage Internet Technologies (formerly Heritage Web Solutions).

Throughout our business relationship with Heritage Internet Technologies, our website design was passed along from account manager to account manager with each sequential manager having no prior knowledge of the account status and what had been previously discussed. Brandon and I spent countless hours trying to get the website to work correctly with all of the web designers, editors, and account managers.

We made numerous attempts to get out of the contract throughout the entire time period due to complete dissatisfaction with the product and services provided to us by Heritage Internet Technologies. We were always encouraged to keep our account with them and were redundantly promised that a quality product would be delivered in a reasonable amount of time. We have yet to see any quality work from Heritage Internet Technologies whatsoever.

As an accredited Better Business Bureau business with the Eastern Pennsylvania and Washington, D.C. chapter, we understand the importance of providing quality customer service and products. These have not been delivered to this date. As of the last time we contacted Heritage Internet Technologies the manager we spoke to, Breyton Belazo, said he would do everything in his power to make this right. That phone call between Brandon and Mr. Belazo took place in early June and we have not heard from him since that conversation.

We are requesting a total refund for the deposit we made on our website and are due a refund in the amount of: $1887.50 for Heritage Internet Technologies breaching our contract. Please do not hesitate to contact us with any questions."
