Hewlett Packard - HP - Compaq Hewlett Packard recalled many lap tops for faulty wiring. They repeatedly fixed a lap top that had been a recall item They refused to replace. Warantee Fraud Palo Alto, Colorado

HP retailer circuit city was paid $2600 and sold us a laptop package that never worked. Multiple fixes kept burning out and the computer was a fire hazzard.

HP finally received the complaint. They sent an airbill and light packaging.

When they sent it back it now had a new problem - a cracked screen. They stated they would only refix it.. but charge for their breaking the screen lcd! and wanted a waiver signed.

This HP hewlett packard computer burned out every time and didnt accept a charge. We paid for multiple installations of software on complex quicken and each time lost all of our work.

It was hell dealing with this company.. and a rude woman with a terrible attitude at HP. This has been in collection with this company for years. We have gotten no assistance from the BBB and county consumer agency as the retailer went out of business.

The manufacturer HP knew it was a recalled item and left us struggling to get out money refunded. They are shady and did not make good. They have a bad policy at the texas office that handled it.
