Home affordable direct is a rip off , and this company should be put out off business . thay charged me $4000 for a loan modification that was never done . Thay advertise on the radio stations such as hot97 , WBLS, and 105.1. I made a complaint with the NYS attorney general Eric T. Schneiderman 120 Broadway new york, n.y. 10271-0332 and if you are a victim you should make a comlpaint also, to stop them from cheating hard working people out of there money.

I was contacted by David , Gonzales and stupidly gave him a check for $2000 , after he gave me a hard luck story about him being a victim of Hurricane Sandy , this was in december 2012. I was to hold back the balance $2000 dollars  until i got the modification done , but in january 2013 without my permission thay electionically remove the balance form my bank account wothout me knowing . MY bank CHASE said that there was nothing thay could do about the transaction because, i had and agreement for $4000, and everything was legally done .

Now that thay hard the money i knew right at that point i was rip off ,  so i tried to cooperate with them sending in the documents that thay asked for but it's now 8 month later and i have no madification and home affordable direct will not refund my money.

David , Gonzales work for a company called Claremont funding  before working for Home Affordable Direct . Claremont Funding was responsiable for rip off sererial home owners in 2012 , doing loan modifications this was in and around the long island area.

The workers i dealt with at home affordable direct are Shannon , Woods ... Marilyn , Roman...Debra , Santos...
