home depot/ husky tools lifetime warrenty is offered but will not be replaced when broken with same Nationwide

 I have been a tool vendor and have been buying lifetime tools for over 45yrs. On more than one occasion I have found the the husky brand and others home depot brand that offer a lifetime warranty are only good until they stop making it. So lifetime is short lived.  Being in the business for years I know what lifetime warranty is. What they do often is when a product does not sell they start removing them from racks and no longer offer them . This is fine and understood of continuing to try to sell a product that no longer is a higher revenue maker but for the millions of people that have already bought them under the advertised lifetime warranty you are failing to honor what your marketed and offered of honoring the lifetime warranty if needed creating a mistaken impression that they would have the product for a lifetime and would not need to buy another .

The product turns out to be cheaply made  and less then durable quality. Then when you go to get it replaced at the store the Customer service has no concept of what lifetime warranty means. First they start buy saying that's a husky problem. When they are husky. Then when you confront them on that , they tell you that you need to send it to husky. Then when you ask them who is going to pay for the cost to do that they again give you double talk.  When you explain that for you to get lifetime warranty it should not cost you more money than what you payed for the tool. Then after going back in forth trying to get you to go away, if you stick to your guns and stay in their face for satisfaction, they tell you they no longer make that product and try to replace with another . This would be ok if this product was of same or better quality and lifetime warranty , but what they do is replace it with an even less quality product that no longer  offers lifetime warranty. The customer most of the time does not find out till the next time it brakes and they try to replace it. I have found over the years that Home Depot is not into the service of the customer they are into selling only what moves and makes them money. They are going the way of Sears that has removed signs of satisfaction guaranteed.  You will see the end of Sears in the near future and then will not need to replace any tools with lifetime warranty, they where the ones that started doing the same thing that home depot is doing and why not a lot of the tools are made for them by the same company for both. They have found a way where they can sell you lifetime but when it starts failing they just play the sell game.  This is fraud misleading and a bridge of the contact the they have with the customer when we buy something with a lifetime warranty and pays extra for what they are lead to believe to be good product backed by the company's warranty. This why we are buying  junk from china and we are all just buying throw away stuff. 

 I am very dissatisfied with this approach of MISLEADING Customers with advertisement of Lifetime Warranties you have no intention to honor for stated lifetime of tool / owner.  I am looking for you to prove me wrong and that we Americans can still depend on the honor of US Companies claiming to differentiate themselves and the products they sell with the backing of the product especially when those customers willing to pay a couple bucks more for that warranty should be honored even if you choose not to continue selling same product and/or warranties for future buyers, those of us that did should be grand fathered in and not treated disrespectfully.  This is why class action lawsuits come about and something you can avoid.
