i electronics 'SONY' camera / computer store Scammed by very pushy ( and convincing ) salesman who called himself Tony. orlando, Florida

Was scammed into buying an apple ipad at this store located next to sports dominator i-drive.
The salesman(Tony) was very friendly and helpful ( of course ) showing us cheaper versions of i-pads and then after much salesman talk he showed us the so called genuine article. This was meant to be the top of the range model and unlocked from apple so as not have internet charges !!. Also as tourists we could claim back about $500+ off the price once back at customs and thats where we make such a saving on the initial price. This was something we were very unsure of but he was absolutely convincing and assured us that it was the case. We also discussed garauntees and return policies to which he told us that it had full manufacturers garauntee and just bring it back if there was a problem. After much discussion and lots of free bits and bobs thrown into the sale we parted with our Hard earned money. I must stress that we are not people who are normally duped so easily and are usually very astute BUT we were taken in on this occasion. Later at our hotel we found that the box did not contain the correct accessories and it looked like a refurbished item. Things were not right and so we took it back that day, told the guy that we were not happy and wanted a refund. He wasn't so helpful as before and would not refund us, just didn't want to know. The next day we discovered that NO you cannot claim any money back at customs. It was too late, we were on our way home. We could have paid less at home for the same product.
We don't expect to get any money back but we have reported the matter and do not wish for anyone else to fall into his trap.
