The ICloud Center web sold me a web auction script in December 2012. It seemed like everything works fine at the first glance. The script came with 2 months support.

Since I had no time to set up the web site until early May 2013 I did not bother to use their support. But once I have the web site set up and started running it in the test mode before I could invite any real customers I found out that AutoBid was malfunctioning and the auctions ended before all the bids allocated by the users for autobid were used up, i.e. the items would be sold uderpriced and it would be impossible to predict who the winner would be and some users would be thrown out of the bidding process long before they are ready to give it up!

As my support has already run out I contacted the web site and explained the situation to them and asked if would help me solve the issue if I purchase another 2 months of support for $200. They promised to help, so I purchased the support straight away and started sending them support tickets with all the details giving them access to my web site etc.

They started trying to direct me off the point explaining to me that I do not understand anything in their script and that everything is fine, the script is supposed to work like that!

When I told them that the way the script works is not acceptable for an online auction business to run in a profitable way and I want them either to fix the problem or to refund me, they stopped communicating.

I started a PayPal dispute about refunding the $200 for support (since the script itself was purchased last year and it cannot be disputed being too old). They refused to refund accusing me of RIPPING THEM OFF THEIR MONEY! Can you believe that?

So, now the issue is escalated and PayPal is considering my claim. But I won't get my money for the script itself back since it's too late!

If you are considering purchasing any scripts or services from http://www.icloudcenter.com I suggest you BEWARE!

A client is always a ripoff - that's the way to do business!

How can a customer grab the sellers money? Who is talking nonsense?

You do not have to be neither a rocket scientist nor a cowboy programmer to understand that if an auction autobid ends up long before all the bid allocations by a user have been used up, that is not the way the auction is meant to go! Its a common sense - you don't need to talk all that programmer lingo!

As for the "professional" programmers from ICloudCenter, they don't even develop a 100% authentic product. Their script "ICpennybid" is based on a GPL version of phpAuction software (http://www.phpauction.net/). So they just take a publicly available open source code, add some extra features to it and resell it.

As for using the product for 5 months, as I said already in my complaint I didn't have time to set it up earlier than in May 2013 whereas I bought it in December 2012. If I had tried it straight away I would have realized that its a substandard product much earlier and would have requested a rufund of the script cost itself instead of asking the paypal to get $200 back for an extra Ripoff (what they call support).

Their so called "support" was absolute mocking around and waste of my time. Instead of helping me they tried to convince me that everything is fine and I am stupid.

As I said above any person who has ever took part in any auction either as a seller or buyer will understand that if the auction is finished before the buyer is ready to walk away, such a result is confusing and bad for both the buyer and the seller. The buyer loses the item to someone else who buys the item at one price and this buyer is willing to pay more in order to get the item. On the other hand the seller loses as well since the item is gone at a lower price than it would have if everything worked as it should.

And you don't have to talk about sofisticated software mechanisms to understand that its not gonna work for this business! Alright employer, do not hire me! If you have got a sceleton in the cupboard I'll expose you! Do not hire me! Hire those outsourcers and they'll cheat you and rip you off and then tell you that you are ripping them off their money!

Can you imagine such a situation in any of the retail outlets or shops not on the net? If any one wants to read the transcript of their so called "support" I'll happily send them a document with a copy so you can see for yourself how "helpfull" those guys are! I have lost $100 for the script that's no use for me, its too late now to claim with paypal and they say I ripped them off! Please, anyone beside those smart pants, tell me I am wrong!

Sergey Evstratenko tries to grab our honestly earned money

AUTHOR: ICloudCenter - ()

Our script is installed on hundreds of sites - we sell it alraedy 4 years.

Sergey Evstratenko bought it in December 2012, installed it successfully and worked with it 5 months.

At the beginning of May he came first time with some question and despite he didn't have support (we provide free support only during 2 months after purchasing) we helped him free. When he came second time saying he has a problem with autobid function we proposed him to buy support and he bought.

We carefully checked all his complains and all worked perfectly.

The guy doesn't understand even purcpose of fields - he always put amount = number of bids, when he complained on our test auction checking he thought we put increment 0.01 while we put $1. He has in his head apparently different way how it should work. Obviously such modification is much much more than support - autobid is complex function!

He continued to say all his non sense and finally opened paypal dispute saying he got product of different category!

Dear people - about our script - you can see demo - it works really great.

But most important is about Sergey Evstratenko,- avoid him, don't make business with im , don't accept him as employee,- he'll certainly will find a way to grab your money!
