Yes, I attended a typical weekend seminar for entrepreneurs sponsored by UNIM. Once they hook you into their own web site business, they hand you over to their "support" network of related services. Each of them has you sign an application form and payments are automatically deducted from your bank account -THIS IS WHERE THE PROBLEMS STARTS!

INNOVATIVE MERCHANT SOLUTIONS was one of the service suppliers. After a year of trying to use this network of services to start my online business with no success, I terminated the accounts. The others were terminated upon request but INNOVATIVE MERCHANT SOLUTIONS became a nightmare!!

They're impossible to reach and you never get to speak to anyone but a receptionist. Everyone else is always "in a meeting". When I tried to end my relationship with them, I was told that it would cost me $300 CANCELLATION FEE as per my agreement. I refused and have been trying to stop this fraud ever since. My bank but a stop payment on the monthly withdrawal but they cleverly changed the amount and scammed more money out of my account. After working with my bank, they recently issued a "revoke authorization" for Innovative Merchant Solutions and initiated a fraud investigation on the account.

These companies are clever and once they have your account info they will submit an automatic transfer of funds from your account under a DIFFERENT name. You have to be vigilent and check your bank statement every month to make sure they don't start up again. It's been an endless headache. Be very careful about allowing automatic monthly transfers from your bank account to any company you're not sure is absolutely legitimate.

Although this consumer has not provided sufficient information to locate her personal account, it can be confirmed that the Termination Fee is listed on the Merchant Application, Merchant Agreement, and on the website listed on the Merchant Application.

We do not change our business name to take money from an account, and we by no means would ever attempt to debit anything other than what is authorized per the Merchant Agreement and authorized per the contract signed by the customer.
