On January 24,2013 my husband and i went to our appointment with InterFace for our 5 month old baby.
InterFace called us twice on this week to info us about the time of our appointment and how to dress our baby.We left at 4:58 because our appointment was set for 6 in the afternoon. When we got there, we were signed in, the placed looked nothing like i thought it would be, with their "billboards" of their models that have need it, it just seem weird too me. We ended up waiting for around an hour and 30 mins. They sounded like they meant business but when it came to keeping up with their appointments, they were not doing a very good job. Waiting with a 5 month was not very easy, but we were finally called in at around 7:50 and that bought a lot happiness on my part.

The Senior Development Director was Gab (Will not be saying the whole name to protect myself). She was wearing a very open top and had the most annoying voice, they kept saying our child had the "look" and "personality" to become a model. She went over how the company is and what they do.She info us about the models that have gone somewhere thanks to them, through big black portfolio books. After that she ended up showing us a list of prices, i was not really for what we saw on that sheet. Prices ranging from 2,000-500 all for a photo shot for comp cards to sent for marketing. She kept saying that for small baby she liked for them to have the 2 outfit / or 3 outfit shot, because it gives the people they are marking too a better idea on how the child looks in "different" clothing. But the prices for a 3 outfit was 900, we ended up going for a 1 outfit-headshot for 777 with along a 3 year marketing, that was a headshot photo and on the back of the comp card, 4 pictures showing off our son in  different outfits,we went with this price before she added for free a 2nd outfit, she kept rushing us with the payment, we were not ready for this, we did not even know he had to pay anything, when you get called by any professional company they always info you by Phone, if there would be anything payment or to bring a blank check, all we had was a credit card and she was like "oh thats fine, most people put that amount on credit anyways", we explained to her that we couldn't right now but after many rushing she allowed us to leave a down of 400 and the rest to pay on the day of photo shot. After she kept telling how "great" our child is and "how he would do good in modeling & acting" she had us sign some papers but she kept distracting us while we were signing so on our part we were not able to read what we were sign, she explained what we were signing. After we were done she guys us a folder with a booklet for what we must do for the day of photo shot, she Never, give us our agreement paper copy stating what we had paid and why. Like most Professional companies, they always give you the yellow part of the agreement yet we got nothing but a booklet and a card to call her if anything.

I left the meeting with a headache, and a bad taste in my mouth, everything went so fast that i could not believe it, at the same time it felt so wrong. My husband and our son got back home at 8.55 and thats when i looked online for reviews on InterFace and came across their complines.
There was one compline that had me thinking, one about how after the photo shot you still have to pay an extra 300 to have the child market. So in the morning January 25,2013 i called them for questions. I spoke with the person upfront and they send me to speak with Client Services, 1st thing i asked was if it were true about the extra fee for marketing and he kept going around the subject until he said that yes there is an extra fee after photo shot for marketing, i was very upset yet the person i spoke to kept his cold. We spoke and everything was fixed, so i thought, he told me that he would lower my fee to 500 because my baby was young and did not need so many crew (hair & makeup people) and that the only thing i would have to pay would be 200 more for marketing.

He sent me an email and this is what happen.

Reply:On Fri, Jan 25, 2013 at @interfacenetwork.com> wrote: No one is going around the subject, it's just that the remaining balance as far as marketing is yet to be determined because you have not selected a marketing package.(Note: he did not mention this clearly) And you would not do so until you met with a marketing director.
As I mentioned in our conversation, the flat rates for marketing range between $360 to $2,400 depending on the time frame that your son would be marketed for. The least amount of time is 3 months the max is four years. Marketing directors can work with you just like Gab and I have done thus far to try to find a cost effective way to move forward.
So I can't give you hard numbers when none have been selected.

Now if you're thinking of going with Ford Modeling group then I take it you weren't deterred by the over 80,000 complaints they have against them. They're a great company in reality, but like any company that has been around and has a large client base, they are going to have complaints. Also when dealing with a modeling agency they basically own your child for the duration, taking a piece of every single opportunity that comes his way. We don't take any commission on any opportunities you get which is why our fees are upfront.
As far as canceling the agreement you can do so in writing with: Your sons name, your name and the statement that you are canceling your agreement with InterFACE. This would need to be sent Certified mail through the post office either today, tomorrow or Monday in order to be in compliance with the cancellation policy and receive a full refund.
Any other questions feel free to contact me

After

After getting this e-mail i did what he said and wrote the letter with what he asked, but if you did not notice he failed to tell me where to sent it too. So i messaged him back for the address and i did not get a reply all day. I went with my day and when i got back home from the gym checked my e-mail and still nothing, so i called InterFace to ask for address, and in doing so i got a very angry agent.

I called and they i told them i wanted to cancel so once again they had me speak with someone else about it. The female i spoke to asked for my last name and son's name and she did not know how to spell, InterFace if you are going to have people work for you, have them know how to spell at least. I told her i wanted to cancel and she kept asking Why, i told her i was not happy and would rather go with a professional company, she then became the worst person to speak too, she kept cutting me off and not letting me speak, on top of that when i told her that her company was a big scam, and about the lawsuits that they were facing she lashed out at me, telling me to give her a reason why i was canceling and that her company was not a scam, she even compare her company to Best Buy, stating that "every company has bad reviews, even Best Buy" because i told her that i had looked online and had read a couple reviews on InterFace, She spoke with a high voice and you could feel that she was pissed off, she sounded like a child when you don't give them something they want. Finally i told her i just want to cancel, i want to move on and she told me i have to write a statement, which i told her i had done, i asked for address and when i found out i had to sent it to the same office i had gone too, i then info her that i will be going in person to leave the letter, she kept saying that they would not allow the latter Unless it is sent. and then went to telling me i have till sunday to send it, she also mention that after they get the letter they will be taking 30 days for then to send me a check with my money back.

I am shocked on how she reacted, yes, i was no better, but as a worker that is representing the company you work for, that was no way to act. I am overall disappointed with this company and will always stay with my words that anyone that is looking to this company to become a model, don't do it. They don't explain everything they do, and are the most unprofessional company i have ever had to deal with. I will be sending my letter tomorrow in holds that InterFace keeps their words and send me my money back.
Lesson of this is to never let them stop you at the mall and fall for their trap, or you  will be stuck.
