Okay, so we knew we were getting knock-offs of famous chairs.  We own originals, but wanted something that the kids could eat on everyday and not worry about ruining.  I had reasonable expectations of lower quality materials and lower quality fit/finish.  What I expected were chairs that don't need almost daily tightening to keep from wobbling, creaking and squeaking.  Come on!  I can go to Target and buy cheap chairs that at least stay together once assembled.

After taking apart and completely reassembling, they continue to work themselves apart.  They are not abused or misused.  Kids aren't allowing to tip them.

Anyway, after all the problems, I thought I'd write a review to warn other buyers of our experience.  Guess what?  They never posted my review!

I don't consider myself naive, and I'm normally skeptical if something seems too good to be true.  Now that I look at Interior Trade Furniture's website, and other furniture they sell, it appears obvious that they are only posting glowing reviews they receive (or I suspect they are fictional, even). 

I constantly rely on reviews on TripAdvisor, Amazon, etc.  I expect there to be a few friends and family posting biased reviews.  I get that most people who are generally pleased won't take the time to write a review. 

I never thought a company would stoop to misrepresenting their products by blatantly controlling customer reviews in this way.
