International Humanity Foundation They offer you a job and send you checks but dont cash them because then you will have to pay for them. San Diego, California
*UPDATE Employee: Scam report, answer from the real IHF
*Consumer Comment: AHAH, a new twist on the "Send fake checks and pay real cash" scam.
International Humanity Foundation wrote to me offering me a job as a receptionist. I accepted they said that my duties would be to recieve checks or money orders to send to companies as donations. They send me the checks and as they had described my job duties this made sense to cash the checks and send them out to diffrent companies for donations. I stopped cashing the checks after the second one because something did not seem right. Now a week later it turns out that the checks were fake and now I will have to pay for them. I am just writing this report because if you are looking for a job and they offer you one do not take it they are not real and you will in the end be the one that has to pay.

Scam report, answer from the real IHF

The International Humanity Foundation (IHF) would like to report this scam too. IHF is indeed the victim
of this scam. IHF is not a company that hires people or pays salaries.
IHF is a volunteer based organization where people choose to give their time to help. There is no regular paid
staff as we believe that all the donations must go directly towards the children and the programs we run in each of our centers. We provide to almost 3000 people in 3 different countries and 6 centers.
Besides the answer we just provided regarding above comments, please see for yourself our blog and social networks, so you can make up your own mind.
