Interstate Distribution Center/Corporate Distribute Center ripoff ripoff swindlers ripoff thieves ripoff ripoff abused & mistreated Culver City California .....

A couple of months ago we had a new employee working at the receptionist desk when these Toner Scammers called. They somehow got enough information from her to send us an package of Xerox toner bottles.

They claimed she faxed an order to them (no proof provided when asked), which they gave her a 100.00 discount for buying 10 bottles. The price they charge was $385.00 per bottle (at $285.00 over street prices) plus 250.00 shipping on six bottles. This included the discount?

Interstate Distribution Center told me that our company has been a long time customer. I immediately corrected them as I have a maintenance contract on that equipment which supplies toner to us since we leased the equipment two years ago.

Next I was told they couldn't help me because they only process shipments and the invoicing was from Corporate Distribution Center, she kindly gave me there number. No one answered at this number ever.

When I called back I insisted that I be able to talk to someone as we have received a second invoice on product we didn't order. That's when I got the nasty mean lady who basically told me pay up, we kept the package too long. I was engaged with this woman, as she was quite rude about the hold mess. Finally she agrees to have this "Corporate Distribution Center call me.

This took another two days, but I did receive the call from the other company who tried her hardest to get me to pay for half the order. I refused to pay a dime to these people, who have already wasted much of my time.

Concluding, they sent someone to pick up the package to sell to another unsuspecting victim.

Sorry

I fell for the classic line "we have inside information the price is going up on this particular toner and would like to offer you a good deal on the only case we have left-" . When the toner arrived, the fax machine they had said it was for had been traded for a newer model and this toner would not work.

When I called to get an RMA # or at least the physical address to send it back to, I was told the only way they would take it back was if I ordered something else of equal value. After explaining to them several times that we have manitenance agreements for all of our machines, I was turned over to the nasty lady who said they would take it back for a 20% restocking fee of $169.27.

I called my boss and she said to pack it up and send it back. That's when I found out about this web page, trying to locate a physical address because they only include a PO box on their correspondence, knowing that UPS or FED EX cannot ship to a PO box. Thank you for the oppotunity to vent and possibly someone can find a way to stop these RIP-OFF'S.
