Iowa Beef Inedible meat that cost $400. So gristly and tough that it was finally cooked and fed to the dog. Gross! Grimes Iowa

With all good intent we agreed to purchase 2 boxes of Iowa Beef for $400, one box of better quality then the other.  Our first attempt of cooking the lower quality was not promising, so the second attempt on the "best" quality proved just as inedible.  So disgusting on each and every attempt on the cuts is that we ate the side dishes prepared and literally gave the cooked portion to the dogs.  We were lead to believe that even the worse cut of beef was equivalent to Omaha Beef, but that is a stretch of the imagination. Sales people are way better than the product.  We worked hard for our good $400 and were delivered the goods.  Puke, disgusting, waste of money, buyer beware.  Get your meat fromWalmart before these thieves.  We learned our lesson, don't anyone else buy into this. . .hamburger is god awful too.
