Teaching Academis through Sports - Ivy League Sports and Academic (Academy) is ran by John Marsh. This individual has yet to pay any associate who created this program for him. Originally the first camp was scheduled to be open June 2 at 495 Indian Trail, Lilburn, Ga 30047. It was scheduled to run for 10 weeks, with weekly field trips offered at an additional price. Free Breakfast and Luch would be provided. The web address was fridaymornings.biz (has since been taken down)
He planned an open house the friday before (5/30/08) Parents showed up and he never did. Turns out he never secured the loan for the building he was advertising on his website. That fact did not stop him from accepting money from eager parents wanting to send their children to camp for the summer. There are parents in the georgia with questions about their funds.
When John Marsh was contacted about payment of services rendered, he promptly left town for Charlotte, N.C.

It is in your best interest to not work with this person unless you have it in writing and even then that will not guarantee you will be paid regularly.
I made the mistake of not having a written contract and now have to pursue justice by more expensive means. The economy is tough right now but I strongly advise anyone interested in this camp to do something more constructive with your time, money, and children. It is only a matter of time before his past catches up with him.

John Marsh walked away with over $3,000 dollars from the scam that took place June of 2008 in Lilburn, Georgia. I have periodically checked with people that registered and many still have not received their money back. Not to mention the people that worked with him on this business venture and others, My Brother's Keeper is an exception to the rule. When we (the associates) realized the scam taking place and confronted Marsh about it he quickly tried to blame My Brother's Keeper, I hope he received every bit of his money back. There has been no arrangement made, while myself and others are out of not $100's but $1000s of dollars and not to mention the time loss.
From what I can account from Jan to June 08 John collected over $60,000 from various individuals behind the lie of a business venture. This is not an allegation or made up I have no reason to lie. I have every bit of hard copy documentation to prove the character of John Marsh. Beware to anyone attempting to work with this person or patronize a business presented by this person- do not "invest your time or money" in an idea you will never be repaid, but you will be dragged under the bus and John will make sure he puts it in reverse.
