Joe DePhillips Joseph DePhillips WAS PAID BUT ABANDONED JOB MIDWAY, 6 NO CALL NO SHOWS, Internet

I have heard all I can between Troy and laron trying to smear my name, 

first off i stoped working on larons house for two reasons first was he wanted work done for nothing second was the bs I heard was going on I left the coumpany Troy was never my boss's, and as far as the other co you say fired me is another lie your just sore that I didn't let you take advantage as far as Troy I Weill be polite in saying we had differences like him selling drugs and being a con artist, and the other thing I found out he got fired from his job at doties because he stole a lot of money now I'm not saying there are a few that got cought inbetween when I was trying to close the co. They will be settled up with and as far as this one that says I give bad cheaks I belive that's Troy again trying to ruin my name if I oue anyone I always take care of it 

I have turned this individual in to our bad check division. It turns out he also writes bad checks!

I am Troy Gines, the reason for mine and Joseph's "falling out" was not the advertising. First of all Joe instructed me to advertise on Craigslist. That's how we got all of our work. The real reason we had a "falling out" was because he stole from our customers and myself. He owe me close to $5,000 from between all the fraud he did to the business account and the money he took from at least 4 customers. After he recieved the money he then never showed up to do the work and would stop answering his phone. Then at my own expense I had to go do the job. Also on several occasions he would do jobs and then tell me we did not get them. Joe is a classic sociopath. I truly thought he would have been a friend for life. But only after we went into business together I found out that he did not feel the same way. He used me, has stolen from and hurt several people and he has no remorse about it. Joe is an extreamly talented plumber but he is lazy, unreliable and will ask for a deposit then only show back up to do the work 20% of the time. 

You are foolish I must have hit a nerve or the truth, you need to do your research Troy Gines was his bisness partner he dose not have a plumbing licence you sound very foolish the only one trying to tarnish anyone here is you because he seen how you try to get free work out of ppl and because of my investment I have always cheaked into who I use, so before this gets ugly I ask you this if he did this why have you not taken him to court, I say again your just a sore rip off your self I'm suprised joe has not done anything in return

The "rebuttal" submitted by "John" of North Las Vegas is a sham. That's Joe Dephillips himself, a bad unreputable immoral plumber trying to do damage control after he screwed me on my plumbing job. I've since found out he's screwed others, both customers and employers. There is no "John". Joe Dephillips is an uneducated person and it shows, just look at all the spelling mistakes both in his headline and main paragraph. I'm the original poster and I trusted him. But as far as I can tell he's probably a high school dropout and hustler who will do whatever he can to pay the rent, morals and integrity and other people be damned. Joe Dephillips currently is working (screwing people) in Las Vegas, is from New York, and has a slight east coast accent, so please be careful of this bad plumber if he contacts you for a plumbing job. Ask for ID since he may try to use another name.

Why would some random customer take the time to do all this research online about this one plumber and find ALL THESE POSTINGS about him? Answer? People don't usually google plumbers but they DO google THEMSELVES to see what was written about them. That's how Joe found this post and others I wrote to warn people about him.

Again, spelling mistakes, but why would Joe ever do a job for free? Nobody works for free. This was a big job...I spent A LOT OF MONEY. I paid Joe 20% up front, and the other 80% just before he finished the job. He only had a few connections left to make, about a half day's work (this was a big job originally) so when he told me to trust him that he would come back tomorrow to finish, I gave him ALL the money for the rest of the job...and never heard from him again. Even though I kept CALLING AND CALLING AND CALLING, and even though it would've taken Joe less than half a day to finish the job, he got paid so he didn't bother coming back. BE WARNED!

More spelling mistakes, did you all catch it? Now, if this was a real customer, why would a "customer" mention and basically accuse and tarish the online reputation of a 3rd person he supposedly knows absolutely nothing about? The answer is, Joe is trying to deflect all blame from himself onto any other person he can. That's what liers do. They don't take responsibility, they accuse others. The truth is, Joe worked for the individual he's accusing, it's his old boss who held the plumbing license Joe was working under. The "falling out" as he puts it, was that Joe's boss was upset that Joe didn't finish my job as promised. His boss (who later told me he's had problems with Joe in the past), actually came to my house with another plumber when Joe stopped responding to my calls. His boss wanted to make things right and split the cost of that plumber with me which is why it only cost me $60 instead of $120. Do you know any plumber that would drive out to any job for $60 dollars? I don't. After that, he fired Joe DePhillips and I started warning people about Joe Dephillips online, which is why Joe is now scouring the internet looking for my reviews on him so that he can lie and try to maintain his reputation which isn't worth a nickel.

More spelling mistakes....Joe, please learn to spell if you're going to try to act like someone else. Now, this fine business....why would a plumber who's trying to maintain a good reputation admit to a customer he advertising on craigslist and has a complaint with the state contractor's board? After Joe screwed me, I checked and it's true, he's got complaints there. Joe is again trying to place blame on other people and doesn't realize that his attempts to lie is obvious to most educated people.

So I ask you: why would anyone go out of their way to both 1) dispute a ripoff report for someone else AND 2) further ACCUSE and TARNISH THE REPUTATION of a third party who had nothing to do with anything?

Since I've posted about this bad plumber Joe DePhillips on other sites, a SECOND former boss of his (not the one above, a DIFFERENT ONE) contacted me via email and told me that Joe screwed 3 other customers before he found out and fired Joe DePhillips.  Since he's having such a hard time with me, Joe has obviously figured out he messed with the WRONG GUY (and I'm sure he's reading this and fuming...that's what you get when you mess with the WRONG GUY, Joe. You should've just come back and finished the job after I paid you, like you PROMISED.

So please, if you're in Las Vegas, ask for ID when you hire a plumber...it might just be Joe DePhillips using a fake name since he now knows we're all onto him.

I'm sure "John" or maybe another "satisfied customer" or "employer" will see this and try to add another rebuttal. Don't believe it. There are plenty of plumbers in Las Vegas to choose from, don't get set up.

I have used joe dephillips to do a number of jobs on a number of properties he has always finished and completed all the jobs, yes he is a little high priced but his ability is worth it, I recently asked him about these postings I keep seeing and he was more then happy to show me what had happened without giving me the costumers info. From what I see its a costumer that tried to get a job done for free and dose not care about ruining some ones good reputation to get it. And the other thing he mentioned is the trouble he had with his former bisness partner Troy Gines that they had a falling out, one was because the advertising he did on creigs list he had to deal with a fine from the contractors board.. In short he is a great plumber and not a ripoff
