My car was involved in a front driver side wreck. The body shop called me after having my car for almost 3 weeks and said it was complete to please come pay the balance and i can pick the car up. When i got there I was amazed it had looked like it was never wrecked in the first place. I was walking inside to pay for the work and I noticed on the passenger side (that wasnt even wrecked or damaged in any way) I had me a nice new 2 1/2 inch thick black stripe down the side of it, at this point I went from satisfied to furious beings that my car is baby blue and it is beyond noticable.
I went into their office and asked what happened and the owner Stanley told me "thats what happens when you have a crappy paint job" so instead of them calling me to inform me of what happened i got a surprise, not only that but he never offered to try to fix it or anything he was really rude from the beginning. After I about lost it he told me to follow him outside and I did he told me when the tape was put on the non damaged side to paint the damaged side it ripped my paint off when they removed the tape. So I told him someone was going to fix my car and he told me he isnt responsible and its not his problem, I told him i will just have to get me a lawyer and he told me to go ahead that he knows all the lawyers around. I WILL NEVER USE OR REFER ANYONE TO THIS P.O.S BUSINESS EVER!!

Please note that the job was done to customers approval. The problem is that the customer previously had their vehicle repaired at a shop that did shoddy work. When we applied our masking tape to the area previously repaired for masking the vehicle so we could paint the damaged area as per estimate, the other paint came off with the tape. I explained to the customer to bring her vehicle back to the shop that did the sub-standard work and that they should fix it if they were a quality repair shop. I explained to them that if my paint peels off then we will fix it for free no questions asked. This customer wanted me to fix the other shops shoddy work for free. That compares to buying a washer at one store and asking another store to fix the broken washer.
