I ordered flowers for Mother's Day, paid extra for Sunday delivery, and they were delivered on the Saturday before Mother's Day.
I live overseas with the U.S. military and it is hard to do business online, one pays extra for services, thinking that one will get what one paid for, but it did not happen.

This is what happened and the correspondence:

To Whom It May Concern:

Can you tell me why in the world the flowers were delivered today when they were supposed to be Mother's Day Flowers?

I quote the confirmation email you sent.

Dear Lisbeth Jacobs

Thank you for choosing JUSTFLOWERS.COM for your recent flower and gift order.
We appreciate your business.

Your order number is 3708344
Please reply to this email if you have any questions.

Your order was placed Wednesday, May 06, 08:26 pm PST

Deliver on Sunday, May 10, 2009
To: Alma (last name omitted for privacy)

Address omitted for privacy

Why in the world would you deliver them early. I am sure I paid enough money for you to do as you said you'd do on the order confirmation. You have ruined my Mother's Day surprise. If I lived in San Antonio, I would not need to rely on your services. I am a U.S. military spouse living in Germany and I am sure going to tell everyone I know not to use your services because it is obvious you cannot do what you say you'll do. there was nothing in the fine print about delivering a day earlier.

I expect a response to this email.

Their reply was as follows:

Dear Lisbeth Jacobs, Below is our policy with regard to Mother's Day orders.

Mother's Day Weekend Delivery Policy Friday Deliveries are available in most cities for Mother's Day. If we are unable to deliver on Friday and the order is going to a residence, then the order will be scheduled for Saturday. Deliveries are available in most cities on Saturday and Sunday in the USA. If we are unable to make your Sunday delivery and time permits, we will deliver the gift on Saturday. If both Saturday and Sunday are not available in the recipient area, then we will deliver on Monday. Thank you. Still, why would thye send an order confirmation saying it'd be delivered on Sunday if they intended not to do it. The confirmation did not include this obscure policy, and finally during the placement of the order, there was no mention of such policy.
