Heres the problem, first this is not a job, second there is also no MLM opportunity becuase youre not actually making any money. Once you sign up on their website, youre asked to put in all your info including a Social Security number ( collecting your personal info on top of it ) and then are asked to select a product that you will be asked to buy tomorrow, March 1st. If you dont buy the product, youre going to be put at the bottom of your downline. All the while there is no compensation agreement, product information other than photos and if you go to the "launch party" that I dont think actually exists, you even have to pay 20.00 just to get information about what smells like a major scam on unsuspecting biz op seekers. Folks there is NO OPPORTUNITY here other than Kannaway making money off thousands of people who agreed to buy a product from them.

Next order of business .... I came across this internesting bit of information

investorshub.advfn.com/boards/read_msg.aspx?message_id=97038224

Kannaway is owned by General Hemp, LLC

Kannaway's managing member is General Hemp, LLC

General Hemp, LLC, a Delaware corporation, is owned by Stuart Titus, and General Hemp owns 628,191 shares of CannaVest

If Kannaway is the home-based business organization that is going to be selling Cannabis Beauty DEFINED, then the circle is complete:

CannaVest CBD oil goes into a product owned by HDDC (a major shareholder of MJNA). That product is is wholesaled by MJNA company HempMedsPX to a fledgling multi-level marketing company owned by a major shareholder of CannaVest.

I wonder what kind of discount Kannaway will get?

Seems like a SCAM and you've been led down a rabbit hole.... so in a nutshell, there is this huge buzz launch based on FALSE HOPE and LIES of selling cannabis based products, no mention of the opportunity, no one answering the phone, no address, no contact with anyone other than scammers who keep telling you that if you buy the product in March, by April they will disclose the sales opportunity. Sounds to me like a pack of fraudsters got together, decided to sell some hemp salve and a hemp vape and will reap all the profits and after 30 days, you may or may not get your product, all the sites will evaporate off the internet, you have given all your personal information and you will be taken for a ride if not have your identity stolen or who knows....

Word to the wise .... do your Due Diligence on any company before making impulsice decisions.

THIS IS NOT A MONEY MAKING OPPORTUNTY, THIS IS A PREDATORY VACCUUM SCAM FOR KANNAWAY to make money off Craigslist and other sites and youre the innocent victim. Why else would they tell you NOT to use thier NAME, LOGO, MAKE CLAIMS ABOUT MAKING MONEY OR MEDICAL BENEFITS?

Becuase Kannway/KWAY is a JOKE and an MLM SCAM ... all you have to do is watch all the you tube video's of these bozo's bouncing all over the place talking about how they have a legal cannibas product to sell in all 50 states.... "catch me if you can" is all this amounts to.... they take your information but give none in return.... Thank God the gov is now in the shadows of every social media site so that scumbags like this can get sucked out of the black hole they are trying to lead everyone into....

The TRUTH about almost NO CBD in Kannaway's Grossly over-priced products!

AUTHOR: CBD Truth - ()

POSTED: Saturday, July 12, 2014

So many victims of this company and their deceptive practices, including myself...

1) Prices for shipping on a 1.8oz. jar is $13 (post office says $3.78) pure scam priofits for Kannaway.

2) rediculous prices for products that most consumers laugh at. If it were'nt for their own "auto-ship" no products would sell at all.

3) Hardly any CBD (all products about 5% - many cases less then 5%) whic makes them almost ineffective for any real health benefits from CBD unless the products ae used 10+ times per day.

4) Real Hemp and CBD oil industry people laugh at Kannaway trying to be a part of the Hemp/ CBD Movement!

5) If a paycheck was less then $20. Kannaway keeps your money and wont send it! ILLEGAL to say the least!

6) Corporate leader changes after only a few months? Sounds like problems to me.

7) Comp plan favors much higher ups when almost ZERO money is made for people with even 50+ people on their team.

Conclusion: STAY AWAY and DO NOT buy into this dillusion as they will certainly go under within a year!

*This report is being filed by someone that was in Kannaway and went to big events, grew a large team and the was continually asked to buy more products, lied to aboiut auto-ship requirements to serve their upline's profits and told to buy into advertising schemes that made to progress and who's upline greatly profuited with.

Over $600.000 paid out in 1st commission run ! - How is that a scam?

AUTHOR: Marketing Automation - ()

POSTED: Wednesday, April 30, 2014

To those that think everything is a scam – the established company Kannaway with the new comp plan just paid out over $600,000 to new distributors – since everyone is new because the program just launched.

Does that sound like a scam to you?

It’s a great opportunity for those interested in health related products, and in this case marketing hemp products. Will it last 100 years and never face a challenge? Who knows – but you can’t forecast tomorrows weather either except to make an educated guess and view the opinions of others either – but that doesn’t stop you from leaving the house without calling the weatherman a scammer.  Get to work – www.facebook.com/HempMarketing

Kannaway

AUTHOR: Wendy - ()

POSTED: Thursday, April 17, 2014

In regards to Kannaway being a rip off I have to totally disagree with you. I am not an employee of the company I am an IBO the for the company. The report you put out was and still is put out before the company actually has launched. Everything we have done is a buzz launch. So far the ones that have signed up have been able to order products and receive them as well like I have and others I know. We also have received a bonus check which was good as well. So I am troubled that you have such negatively against them when you do not have the facts right at all. Please feel free to email me or call. I think that you should retract you report of Kannaway as you are completely incorrect with your statements. The information I read below on the add in Craigs list is very very incorrect and to me, I'm not sure but it seems to been put out buy some employee or IBO that does not have the facts right. They never promised free products and other information in what I have read that you have put here for us to read. Thank you very much

Led down a Rabbit Hole, Indeed

AUTHOR: HappyNHealthy - ()

POSTED: Sunday, April 06, 2014

It's interesting that the writer of this ripoff report compared Kannaway to a scam that leads down a rabbit hole.  If you go to the HempMedspx.net website - the wholesaler of CannaVest CBD oil that's used in the Kannaway products - the website is designed by Rabbit Hole Productions.  When you go to the Rabbit Hole Productions website, all you get is a logo on the front page - it goes nowhere.  What are the odds?

CBD brings hope, but problem is with MLM scheme

AUTHOR: HappyNHealthy - ()

POSTED: Sunday, April 06, 2014

I am a health care professional who came across Kannaway when doing online research on the endocannabinoid system and the potential benefits of CBD.  I watched the pitch on YouTube, but red flags went up when the pitchman brushed over the products quickly without providing any detailed information.  It seemed to me he was really pushing the urgency close, which goes against my nature to research everything thoroughly before acting - that's why I'm on this site!

I did check out another writer's recommendation to watch the 6 p.m. Kannaway chat where one of the top level investors interviews 3 other guys who joined.  It didn't resonate with me at all.  Whether it's an outright scam to collect $15 minimum from thousands of people as well as their identity information, or if it's an actual multi-level marketing scheme - either way seems out of alignment with integrity.

Anyways, I always get a sick feeling in my stomach when it comes to multi-level marketing schemes, and the handful of supposed "friends" in my life who have ever tried to lure me into their MLM businesses have fallen to the wayside and we are no longer connected.  It made me question if we were ever friends to begin with, or if I was just a prospect.  Either way, it left a sour taste in my mouth.

In continuing in my researching ways, I found an excellent article by Dean Van Druff on multi-level marketing businesses, and how they're doomed to failure, and he discusses the morality, ethics, and relationship issues - here's the link: vandruff.com/mlm.html

One of the points he makes reflects how I felt about being pressured to sign up ASAP:

So, as the saying goes, "Get in early!" This is a rationalization on the level of "getting in early" on the L.A. looting riots. If profit from the sale of products is fundamentally set up to fail, then the only money to be had is to "loot" others by conning them while you have the chance. Don't miss the "opportunity," indeed!

Where is the money coming from for those at the top? From the sucker at the bottom... as in every pyramid scheme. The product could be, and lately has been, anything.

The important thing is to exploit people while the exploiting is good, if you want to make quick money at MLM.

Vandruff's Summary of What's Wrong With Multi-Level Marketing

  • MLMs are "doomed by design" to recruit too many salespeople, who in turn will then attempt to recruit even more salespeople, ad infinitum.
  • For many, the real attraction of involvement in multi-level marketing is the thinly veiled pyramid con-scheme made quasi-legal by the presence of a product or service.
  • The ethical concessions necessary to be "successful" in many MLM companies are stark and difficult to deal with for most people.
  • Friends and family prefer to be treated as such, and not as "marks" for exploitation.

Each person considering this "opportunity" will have to choose for themselves, but it's definitely not for me.  As Vandruff explains, it's not about the product that's being sold - it's about recruiting others underneath you. If I want to buy CBD products, or recommend them to my family or friends, they are available online - such as on Amazon.  I would want  the flexibility to buy any products out there - not just the limited Kannaway products.

I hope that at some point in the near future that CBD products will be widely available and at a lower cost - a ten day supply of medicinal CBD hemp oil is about $500 (10g syringe - recommended 1g daily).   Perhaps the US government will someday legalize hemp cultivation again in this country.  I also hope and foresee that pharmaceutical companies will someday manufacture pharmaceutical products with CBD that insurance companies will cover - there's growing anecdoctal evidence that CBD has helped with many diseases, including cancer.  As citizens, there is power in being educated about the medicinal rbenefits of this chemical, and then taking it to the next step to help enact new laws to make it common for the masses.

Just because you don't know what to do doesn't make it a scam - Here's what to do instead of running your mouth online .........

AUTHOR: CannabisCashFlow.com - ()

POSTED: Friday, April 04, 2014

First do some actual reseach and eveluate your own skills and what you bring to the team. If you are not willing to do anything but complain and can't follow simple directions like a todler - then no program will work well for you. (This program is a no-brainer with minimal risk - it costs nothing to join except $15 to cover the back office expense, tracking, lead capture pages, and other marketing tools - most people pay as much for a pizza that serves it's purpose once and doesn't pay for itself later)

Then find a leader, like myself, that has experience with acheiving rapid results. I signed up this morning which you can verify - registered a couple domains for $8 each - CannabisPays.com and CannabisCashFlow.com - to market and split-test landing pages. Posted in a couple locations and set up a FB account called Cannabis News, made a quick profiles and cover pic and added a few of their links to display.

This was done as I had time as I'm busy with many other things throughout the day and I currently have nealry 600 people in my organization the first day - which can also be verified.

There are no guarantees in any program - but wost case senario if I'm not comletely happy with the results or felt others couldn't easliy do the same - I'd be out $15 and would use the domains to market other related products. If I hand you $100 and you then ask me to put it in your pocket for you because you're too lazy to do it yourself- I wouldn't want you in my organazation either. I help people build a business - when it sounds like you're more in need of a sitter.

Don't confuse the idea of hemp with a specific company

AUTHOR: Harlowe Thrombey - ()

POSTED: Tuesday, April 01, 2014

Just because hemp is great and should be totally legal everywhere and has thousands of life and earth-saving uses.... DOES NOT mean Kannaway is a good company.

Do not love Kannaway because you love hemp.  That would be illogical.

A Few Interesting Facts

AUTHOR: Phyllikay - ()

POSTED: Saturday, March 22, 2014

First, There are very strict rules regarding product and health claims. That would be the reason any MLM prohibits use of their name and logo without prior approval of the advertising content. This helps to protect the company from legal ramifications caused by distributors who are not in complience with regulations.

Second It is my understanding that there has been a change in the federal law which has now separated cannabis and hemp into two different plant categories.  Cannabis being defined as an illegal substance because of it's psychotropic element(THC) and hemp as legal because of it's lack of the same.

Third if you were charged go information regarding th launch of Kannaway you should report thst to Kannaway so that distributor can be corrected.

CBD is NOT legal in all 50 states as Kannaway claims!

AUTHOR: Chex - ()

POSTED: Sunday, March 16, 2014

The product manufacturer claims that CBD rich hemp seed oil is legal in all 50 states.  This is not even close to being true.  I'll show you what Illinois law says about CBD as an example.

Illinois Law 720 ILCS 550:
"Cannabis" includes marihuana, hashish and other substances which are identified as including any parts of the plant Cannabis Sativa, whether growing or not; the seeds thereof, the resin extracted from any part of such plant; and any compound, manufacture, salt, derivative, mixture, or preparation of such plant, its seeds, or resin, including tetrahydrocannabinol (THC) and all other cannabinol derivatives, including its naturally occurring or synthetically produced ingredients, whether produced directly or indirectly by extraction, or independently by means of chemical synthesis or by a combination of extraction and chemical synthesis; but shall not include the mature stalks of such plant, fiber produced from such stalks, oil or cake made from the seeds of such plant, any other compound, manufacture, salt, derivative, mixture, or preparation of such mature stalks (except the resin extracted therefrom), fiber, oil or cake, or the sterilized seed of such plant which is incapable of germination.

CBD is a Cannabinol and is illegal in Illinois. Even in states where it is legal you cannot import CBD rich hemp seed oil from other states. Illinois legalized medical marijuana but it has to be grown in a state licensed facility of which licenses will be limited to 20 and sold in one of 60 licensed dispensaries.  Just to meet the licensing requirements will cost you about $500,000 with $25,000 non refundable application fees.  The law still requires that it is produced and sold in one of these facilities and not be brought in from other states.  This is typical of the 20 states that have a medical marijuana law on the books.  You are being scammed by a Multi Level Marketing company.

REPORTER DOESN'T KNOW FACTS!!!

AUTHOR: DeborahS - ()

POSTED: Tuesday, March 11, 2014

I am totally amazed when someone like this person files a Ripoff Report.  It sounds to me like he must have some type of private agenda involved, apparently not wanting any competition.  Marijuana growers are afraid that they will be replaced by this company so they are against it.  What they have to realize is Kannaway is healthy not a high.  I am sure people will still get their MJ not matter what.

1. He doesn't even have his facts straight.

2. No one has ever had to pay $ 20 to get any kind of information.

3. And those of us that are IBO's know what our comp plan is.

4. There is Live people on the http://kannaway.com/hangout every night at 6 pm pacific time.

5. Anyone that joins, automatically is put in the Official FB.Where we have all of our questions answered and I already know some of the top people involved in this company.

When you sign up, you will have 72 hours to make a purchase of one of three products to lock in your spot, your choice.

This is a Pre-Launch

AUTHOR: Jerry Lee - ()

POSTED: Saturday, March 08, 2014

The original poster obviously has no idea what an MLM pre-launch really is.  In a pre-launch they set a period of time usually 30-60 days where people can secure a free spot in the company and start to establish a powerline below them.  There is no credit card required and no product is purchased at that time.   This starts to generate a large number of people to come into a company some of which will stay when the pre-launch is over.

After the prelaunch is over you will have to order a product in order to lock in your position as will all the rest of the people that are in your downline.  It is at this time that company will make money from those product orders of which a certain percentage will be given back to the distributors in the compenstation plan.  Of the 25,000 or so people that are in pre-launch some of them will become full distributors and start to earn money with Kannaway.

There is a mounting amount of evidence that hemp is healthy which makes for a very good ecomomic environment to launch a hemp based mlm.  Does the original poster actually think an NYSE based company would be one of the backers of this company if it was not legit?

You are the type of person that is uneducated and gives the industry as a whole a bad name.   Open your mind and realize the idea of a normal coporate job is more of a pyramid then any mutli-level company out there.

NO SCAM HERE!

AUTHOR: Subedo - ()

POSTED: Wednesday, March 05, 2014

I worked in broadcasting for 25 years so I know all about MLM's.

I initially heard about this company's launch from a re-knowned author and researcher. Based on that alone I was ready to go ahead, but, as everyone should do, I started investigating and was amazed at what I found.

This company was so ready for this launch. The "buzz" each night to build excitement. The anticipation of the compensation plan and the marketing tools that would be made available was building each night and when they finally presented...well...it didn't take me long to go for it. I believe it will be one of the best decisions I ever made.

I already have over 14,000 in my powerline and it's growing everyday! Ya, you had to wait a little, but it was worth it! 14,000! that's huge for a powerline MLM. If you want to check it out, I can answer any questions. My valid ID will get you all the information you need. http://thebuzzlaunch.com/6560532 I'm so excited I can't sleep!

Does "MMS" Run in your Genetics?

AUTHOR: JonnyP - ()

POSTED: Tuesday, March 04, 2014

I have read your post here and just like all the other so called "Scams" that are posted here you have no clue as to what you twist your mouth to say in this case. If you are wondering what MMS stands for, that would be "Mental Midget Syndrome"

In reading this I have to say, you are one heck of a Googling Machine, too bad this is all public information and at a few keystrokes it is all there. See your problem lies in you being a digruntled person for whatever reason, you probably got thrown out for compliance issues and came straight to this site. I hope you have done research in your handy Google so that you can find out that EX CONS own all these scam sites, so the same place you came to discuss your idiotic theories is the same places YOU should be investigating Mr. Internet Policeman. I am shocked you didn't go to the BBB and complain too while you were there which of course you could always BUY a A+++++ Rating for $400 from them so what relevance do they have?

Did you also know that they want THOUSANDS of dollars here to take something off this site that isn't FACT? Well who are the REAL scammers here?

What I suggest for you Mr. Policeman with MMS, fall back! I don't even have a dog in this fight and can clearly see there is "HATE" in your tone which brings me to believe that you were involved, got kicked to the curb and now are writing because you are mad about it. That is alright because Hemp isn't going anywhere and neither are the Companies that come out due to them changing the laws around.

I suggest you do your homework a little better before trying to bash something. Being ButtHurt is not a good look!
