Okay I'm going to try to make this an easiest read as possible.

Join the KUHS Program June 22.2009 and started my online classes on the 23rd. I'm going to list all the problems I had with this school and try to keep them in the order they happen.

Online classes are extremely easy this maybe because it were mostly review for me.
Quickly noticed many of the lesson links were broken and led to dead urls. As time goes by I would say at least 50% of the links are broken. That's a modest estimate.
I contact Kaplan about the broken urls and their response was for me to go through all the links, list them and send them the broken links.
My response was that it was not my job to go through their website and online courses, listing the broken links for them. I don't have the time to do that and they should have webmasters that service the website, after all I'm paying for a lot of money for this program.

It get's worse!

CREDIT CARD SECURITY ISSUE!

After a week of school, I noticed a emails appearing in my email from the representive that signed me up for the program. He sent me the documents of another student, which include all their personal information, Parents name, student name, address, email address, phone number and CREDIT CARD INFO!

I was outraged to receive this, who could they just send all this personal information of another student to me? The first thing I did was cancel my credit card that I used to enroll with. The second was contact this students mother by email which was given to me by Kaplan and forward what kaplan sent me and let her know that he info is being given out.

After doing those two things I began my contact with kaplan. My first response was "it's okay you can just delete that information" They obviously were trying to cover up their tracks and had no plans to let the other person know. Of course I already told her.

After about two weeks of trying to get a response about this security issue they finally assured me that it was a one time mistake that happen because of a new software system they are using and that they went back to the old system until they can fix glitches. As a new student myself I took them for their word but to be honest I don't think they did anything to fix the problem.

I was told at sign up that if I had questions the best way to get a response is to email someone like my coaches, teachers etc.. I was told I would receive a response within 24 to 48 hours. I will go weeks without a response and I finally got a response from the one coach after I dropped from the program and that was just a generic email telling me I cancel the program.

I asked for certifications of the teachers and have never received them or a response for that question.
There is no end date on the website courses for my classes and been asking my coaches for the end date because they told me if I don't finish within a set amount of time the course will automatically close. I never received a response for that so I decided to call. The person I was talking to would not let me get a word in and kept giving me this run around because he didn't have that info. I told him to connect me with someone who does and he wouldn't then he went on this long winded rant again cutting me off everytime i began to speak. I shouted out "Wait a minute!, Let me speak will you!" He got mad and hung up on me.. By the way I was on hold for 30 minutes before I even got a chance to talk to him.

I filed a complaint about this guy and they assured me that I will receive a response within 3 to 5 days, never got a response.

My science teacher made a drastic mistake on school work that I did and when confronted she would not admit the mistake or change the score she gave me that affected my overall grade. I contact Kaplan and asked for proof that she is a certified teacher again NO response!

My english course involved reading various literature, my teacher told me that the literture was not needed but when I did my final exam at least 25% of the quiz was based on the literture that the website advices me to read. When I signed up Kaplan told me all material is provided by them and I guess instead of making the course so the books are not needed they just tell their students not to worry about it then the student gets nailed by the final exam. Also my English course teaches and promotes lessons in communism, Marxism and other socialistic governing bodies but has no mention of USA Politics. This I found very alarming!

Okay I had enough time to drop Kaplan and move on, well I started the process but they say I owe them for the remaining balance of the course, I argued that they did not provide service or product as described in the agreement and that they have breached the agreement not me. They will not get another dime from me and I will dispute their claim until the end of time if I have too.

Overall experience was extremely bad and I highly advice anyone thinking about enrolling in this school to NOT DO IT! I wouldn't want anyone to go through the troubles that this school has put me through.
