Friday evening April 1 stopped to pick up two 4-wheelers to take up to northern Michigan. I asked Jose(salesman) several times while signing all the paperwork what my monthly payment was going to be and he kept saying we'll get to that page. He would change the subject every time I asked.

We told Jose several times that we did not want our payment to be over $80/month and Jose assured us it wouldn't. We decided to go with 2-KFX700's instead of the KFX700 and KFX400 which Jose said would add just a couple dollars/month and would put us closer to $90/month. Even had another salesman come sit with us and talk us into the $80-$90/month total.

We came into this dealership looking for their $49/month promotion and were talked into the $80-$90/month. We were showed the $160/month for both 4-wheelers on the National City Loan paperwork and told by Jose that was our monthly payment. They had to split our loan between a Nat. City loan and Kawasaki credit loan and we were assured over and over that our total monthly payment would not exceed $90/month.

When I went in to the dealership 4/4/05 and spoke to the manager (Gena) to complain about the mechanical problems I was having with one of the brand new 4-wheelers I asked her again what my monthly payments were going to be and that's when I found out they were going to be approx. $110 each.

I feel their sales people pulled one over on us. Gena told me their sales people do not know anything about financing. I asked several times to speak to her boss or the owner and she said there was nobody above her and I was out of luck. She offered discounts on some of their clothing which I turned down.

We were assured by Jose that all the fluids in both 4-wheelers were topped off including the gasoline. When we got to our riding destination for the weekend we discovered there was barely any gas in either(about an 1/8 of a tank) and the orange KFX700 was low in gas, oil, and coolant. We had to search all over in Northern Michigan for the right oil and coolant. Does not seem one 4-wheeler starts as easily as the other.

Constant drip out of an overflow tube. One headlight was broken and didn't work. When pressing the front brake the brake lights did not work. This is all on the same 4-wheeler. I did not want Kensington touching these 4-wheelers because of the terrible experience I had with them so far so I took them to another Kawasaki dealership. I have lots of copies of work orders if needed.

With the orange KFX700 I was given a red helmet and red goggles(when an orange HJC helmet and orange goggles were available((I found this out later)). Just one more thing that made me realize the attention to detail was lacking. When they ordered my new helmet it took approx. 1.5 weeks to get in and when I went to pick it up it was a Youth sized helmet. Took them about 1.5 more weeks to get the right helmet in.

Gena(Manager) is very unprofessional. Instead of asking what she could do for me as a customer she was very defensive and I felt she just blew off any issues that were brought to her attention.. She offered a discount on their apparel but big deal considering we're paying $60 more a month than we were told. Said her salesmen do not know anything about financing.

When I said I would have a hard time recommending anybody I know to do business here she turned even more nasty and was even more unwilling to help. My brother, Andy Williams (he's sharing in the payments on these two 4-wheelers), called Kensington and asked to speak to Gena or somebody of higher authority she played a game with him pretending Gena wasn't in and it happened to be Gena he was actually talking to.

I purchased the 4-wheelers on April 1, 2005 and it is still in the repair shop today May 10, 2005. Pilgrim Motorsports in Plymouth has repaired the headlight and the brake light problem and they're still working on the leaking problem. So far Pilgrim Motorsports has been somewhat pleasant to deal with(besides the fact it's taking them so long to fix the leak), wish I could say the same for Kensington.

In addition to all of this I one tire has a leaky seal that I've had to have repaired 3 times.
