Kevin Trudeau Natural Cures They Don't Want You to Know About Ripoff Beverly Massachusetts

This book has been given a lot of bad press on this site and I think its only fair to give my rebuttal.

As to Mr. Trudeau being a convicted felon, this while true is hardly breaking news. Mr. Trudeau mentions this himself in both the referenced book and the sequel, "MORE Natural 'cures' revealed" The better point is not the background of the author but rather the usefulness of the information presented. Mr. Trudeau takes great pains to acknowledge he is not a doctor and is not qualified to give medical advice. However most of what he reveals is corroborated in a book "What You Don't Know May Be Killing You" written by a medical doctor.

As to his information being trite, redundant or just plain commonsense, I can only wonder why knowing (and acting on) all this beforehand, you would feel moved to purchase a book on natural cures. For me the book was definitely an eye opener. Tru enough I had HEARD of organic this that and the other, but I had no compelling reason to buy organic apples, for instance, when the supermarket ones were so much cheaper and prettier.

The comments about the (first) book having "no cures" in it are probably motivated by the pervasive pillpopping mentality that is so heavily promoted in this country. He does not take this fill-in-the-blank and your worries will be over. Instead he contends that most if not quite 100% of ailments are caused by accumulated toxins and poor nutrition. He provides specific suggestions on how to cleanse those toxins out of the body and reduce the influx of new ones. He makes a good case for the fact that science cannot trump nature when it comes to nutrition and recommends whole foods as opposed to multivitamins.
The only thing missing are specific manufacturers and websites to get those products. Mr Trudeau claims he was intimidated by the FTC/FDA into not providing that information in the first book, however in the sequel he boldly(?) names names and cites where you can get the products.

If you can only read one of the two books, I would get "More Natural 'Cures' Revealed" Some of his suggestions may not be practical for average Joes who have to work for a living. Whose health plan will pay for 15 colonics in 30 days? But I completely agree with the necessity of cleansing my colon through less obsessive means. If you habitually use over the counter or prescription drugs, "diet" or eat fast foods, reading this book may save your life.

As to problems with missing refunds or undelivered products, I can't respond to those. They have not been my experience, but I can't discount someone else's Buy the book in your local book store and you can completely avoid those difficulties.
