Kight's Medical Corp aka Aggio Medical HR Dept. is lazy Morrisville North Carolina

I was employed by Kights Medical for all of one month.  They were backlogged in getting approval from insurance companies to pay for their products, and it was my job to get those approvals.  Primarily, this involved calling the insurance companies, giving them the patient's information and what devices they needed, and then either getting the approval number for the invoice or sending more information to get a final decision.  I was hired the day after I interviewed.

During the first day, the HR girl (clearly younger than me) had me submit an oral drug test, which has been proved to be less accurate than urinalysis. It came up positive for faint THC, which was impossible as I had not taken that drug.  Nonetheless, I was allowed to stay employed.

As the days continued, the HR girl informed me that she was having difficulty contacting my past job references.  I advised her I would try to contact them.  Similarly, I also had problems getting the information I needed.  Since they were only open during those same hours I was working for Kights, I could not balance the two tasks.  

After a month, the Chief Operating Officer (and founder's son) terminated me, on the grounds that I failed to supply references they could track down.

Here is where they failed:

• On the application, I attested that my past job references were given "to the best of my knowlege and belief." The HR girl needed to do her job, and let me do mine.
• The COO's action was completely self-serving: he didn't want me associating with the other billing specialist, who was training me at the time and thus would have a lot of contact with me, because he saw me as competing for her affections. For the record, I don't date people I work with.

Buy nothing from them. If a doctor or hospital wishes to obtain any of their products for you, or your loved one, insist on alternatives.  If you buy from them, you perpetuate the actions of this selfish and lazy company.
