I am a medical transcriptionist. I worked for Kimberly for about two weeks. I did about $500 worth of work for her.
As soon as we talked about payment, she completely disappeared. It has been over two months and she will not answer or return phone calls, IMs, or emails. I accidentally called her one day, she returned my call because she did not know who it was, and pretended to be someone else but I could tell it was her.
I know someone else that she did this to. I think she owes her around $200 and is avoiding all contact from her also.
I think she is having other transcriptionist do her work and then when it comes time to pay them she just drops them. All of the work is done over the internet so she can probably find tons of people to keep this scam going overseas and in the U.S.

DON'T DO IT.
YOU CAN'T TRUST ANYONE ANYMORE BECAUSE YOU REALLY DON'T KNOW WHO YOU AR DEALING WITH ANYMORE!
HAVE YOU BOTHERED TO CHECK HER CRIMINAL HISTORY?
SHE JUST PULLED A THEFT OF SERVICES USING THE INTERNET WHICH MAKES IT A FEDERAL CRIME.
YOU COULD ALSO CALL IT FRAUD.
IF I WERE YOU, I WOULD REPORT HER TO YOUR STATE EMPLOYMENT AGENCY TO SEE WHAT COULD BE DONE, I WOULD ALSO REPORT HER TO THE CRIMINAL INVESTIGATION DIVISION OF THE INTERNAL REVENUE SERVICES BECAUSE YOU KNOW THAT SHE IS NOT PAYING TAXES ON IT--AND TELL THEM ABOUT ALL THE MONEY SHE HAS CHEATED PEOPLE OUT OF...AS MUCH AS THE US GOVERNMENT NEEDS MONEY...
I WOULD ALSO REPORT HER TO THE CONSUMER FRAUD DIVISION OF THE FEDERAL TRADE COMMISSION BECAUSE HER SCHEME WENT ACROSS STATE LINES...
AND I WOULD EVEN CONSIDER GETTING A JUDGMENT AGAINST HER IN SMALL CLAIMS COURT WITH A CEASE AND DESIST ORDER AS WELL BOTH WHERE YOU IVE AND IN THE STATE WHERE SHE LIVES AND OWNS HER BUSINESS.
SHE MIGHT ONLY HAVE A CARDBOARD BOX, PHONE, INTERNET CONNECTION AND A COMPUTER AND A FOLDING CHAIR OR TWO SO I DON'T KNOW HOW MUCH MONEY YOU WOULD ACTUALLY GET BUT THE REVENGE FACTOR WOULD TEND TO BE PRICELESS.

This is in response to Marcie's Ripoff Report.
I'm a victim of the same person. It's actually been weeks since I bothered to try contacting Ms Kimberly M Diaz (Skyline Transcripts) about the payment she owes me for the work I did for her. She disappeared, she ignored phone calls, and the first time I asked her about the payment before submitting any work she lied about her Quickbooks not working and that payday would be soon.
She is a liar, a thief and a major fraud. I hope people read these two reports (mine and Marcie's) before falling for anything of the sort.

Yes, I've been ripped off by clients as well. I demand 50% up front paid via PayPal. When I complete 50% of the work I send it and request the other 50% before completing the project.
It's sad we have to be so suspicious of our potential clients but this is what our world has become.
A bunch of scammers.
