I read several testimonials & the same thing happened to me. They sent the trial product right at the 14 day mark (of signing up) with no chance to try before you buy. I took all the precautions except that I simple could not beat that 14 day trial thing due to the fact that I had no sample to try yet.

They also give you phone numbers that don't go to anyone and it takes over two weeks to cancel, which means you are screwed any way you put it. I tried doing everything by the book and they got me.

I ordered the sample on line to give to a friend to try. I tried to contact the company (leaving my name and contact information on their "answering service". No one ever called back (this was done several times). I also wrote a formal letter to cancel at the address they supplied (all by the books).

I contacted my bank as soon as I saw the $99.90 charge. Actually I contacted my bank when the charge was pending and the bank informed me that they could not take action until the charge actually took place (although I was trying to avoid being charged ).

I waited, and the bank then informed me to send the product back with a way to track. This I also did just as the bank said to.

I was charged in March 2006, the bank credited my account while they investigated. A month or so later the back withdrew the money claiming no fraud had taken place because of my agreement with the company.

You see once the product is shipped you are charged (I knew all of that), but the company ships the product 14 days after you agree to a trial (not 14 days after you receive the trial). Guess when you receive the trial pills? You got it...after the 14 days, i.e. RIP-OFF.

I sent the product back certified mail with another sweet letter and have not received any money back. Not only that, some how I ended up with this 24.99 charge from some internet fitness club (ECURVES). When I called them (only finding out by an unrecognizable charge on my bank statement) I was notified that LeanLife ( AKA FatBurner2 or something like that) signed me up. WHAT! So, $124.89 plus my troubles and I have NOTHING! I did agree to the $1.99 trial that was never really given.

I sent a letter to complain of the ethics that was shown me through this ordeal (that is continuing) and have not received a call back, a letter, or MY MONEY! They could at least send me the pills back, but I want my money. I was ripped off trying to look out for a friend.
