Applicants to Leapforce at home beware.  After working as a independent contractor for just four weeks, they sent me some bogus evaluation task that I had never worked on or seen in my life saying they were my task & needed to be corrected.  After listing the transaction #s they had sent on a return e-mail to check against my invoice to prove they were not mine, they would not respond or even attempt to verify my request.  Instead, the next day, I receive a notice terminating my contract w/ out any warning or negative reviews what so ever.  The false task that they had sent me were only a bogus scandalous way (& illegal) to terminate my contract ( as it looks like this was also done to previous contractors as well).  I have also made multiple attempts to contact them through e-mail, as well as by phone.  By the way, the phone # they provide is bogus.  Yes, their is a recorder where you can leave a name & number, but no one will or has ever returned my phone call (even before I worked their as an applicant).   If unsure, leave your name & number on their recorder & see if you get a phone call back.  That should be the first warning sign of what type of scandalous company your dealing with.  If their is any attorney reading this report, I would be glad to sue the hell out this company to keep this from happening to other unfortunate applicants or contractors by shutting this sleazy unethical illegal corrupt company down.  Any others who would like to make a difference & join me in shutting this company down would be welcomed as well.   Lets Rolllll !!!!

Morons Being Morons,

AUTHOR: This Report Is Bogus - ()

POSTED: Saturday, August 24, 2013

It would seem that the overwhelming trend in this report is people becoming disgruntled because they were either unable to achieve employment with Leapforce or maintain it. So let’s get some facts out there that are on well-known and official. The process of becoming employed by Leapforce, from the point of application to the point of passing or failing your qualification exam is unpaid. This is a fact that is more than made clear when you begin the process. No one is "Scammed" into thinking otherwise. If you can't follow simple instruction and comprehend clear information, that’s on you, not Leapforce. If you can't pass the qualification exam, you will not be hired and you are entitled to nothing for the time you committed to the process.

The original poster here made this quoted statement "After listing the transaction #s they had sent on a return e-mail to check against my invoice to prove they were not mine, they would not respond or even attempt to verify my request".  This does not sound like anything that could have or should have taken place, because it is not fitting with the invoicing process. He may have gotten a ticket of some sort back to him about a quality matter, but that is nothing serious, so I'm told, my work is impeccable and I do not receive such notices. None of the negative reports here are legitimate or indicative of the company that Leapforce is. These are the ramblings of idiots that could no attain employment or maintain it.

Leapforce is a future tech company, essentially crowdsourcing work to independent contractors.  They are not easily reached by conventional methods, but they can be reached.

TL;DR

  • These goofballs were not SCAMMED!!!!!. They are just simpletons.
  • Leapforce is legitimate
  • You have to be smart enough to work for them
  • You need to be able to work independently, no hand holding

Leapforce Is Legitimate

AUTHOR: This Lady Is Wrong - ()

POSTED: Friday, August 23, 2013

This sounds like there was a breakdown in the communication process. In my experience this is usually on the users end. I assure you that Leapforce is not only legitimate; but, the application and hiring process is one of the most straightforward and efficient that I have seen from any company. I decided to apply to this company on a whim with no preparation and was onboarded within a week, as have thousands, so the problem is unquestionably You. You shouldn't cast judgment on a company because of your own shortcomings.

Note: Your statement "I guess I'm fortunate that I didn't get any further with this BS company" is absolutely wrong. You have in fact missed out on one of the best W@H opportunities available.

Woman's Day Wasted My Time

AUTHOR: ArunaAdvaney - (United States of America)

POSTED: Saturday, December 29, 2012

I was denied the "qualification exam".

I am developmentally disabled and have been given the services of an employment rehabilitation agency. I was referred to this "work at home job" by Woman's Day Mag. I don't even read the mag, my Job Coach showed me this article:

Woman's Day Work At Home Jobs

After I created and registered the required Gmail account with Leapforce, it never proceeded to the "qualification exam". Now I get an error message that my Gmail is "already registered". Voice mails and phone calls to the company were not acknowledged.

I guess I'm fortunate that I didn't get any further with this BS company, but why is Leapforce published in Woman's Day magazine? I presumed that Woman's Day was a reputable publication that would not mislead their readers to waste their time.

meh. report.

yeah, It looks like you can download a .pdf file that sumarizes the google search engine according to leapforce. I don't know if that in and of itself is of any value to anyone, but I completed the "exam" and there is no way I could have failed it.  I recieved an email saying that I "did not recieve a passing score or you did not attempt to complete the exam"

They scammed me out of 4 hours and having to concetrate to bring anything out to any kind of conclusion on some worthless 149 page pdf.

Sorry #1 employee, you're full of something

AUTHOR: Elliott Doland - (United States of America)

POSTED: Thursday, November 08, 2012

I do not work for Leapforce but I did apply a couple of days ago.  I came down with the flu the next day, which turned out to be a blessing in disguise.

I clicked on the link that was supposed to let me reschedule.  Uh, oh...bad link...dead page.

I called the company.  How about this:  They claim to be a corporation dealing with many people, yet they don't answer their phones.

I emailed them.  They said just sign in and I could reschedule.  Nada!!!

Are they scammers?  I sure wonder.  Are they unprofessional?  Absolutely!

I will not be taking the exam.  These guys scare the hell out of me.  I think I'll just avoid them like the plague.

Leapforce

I could see that this report would be ridiculous before even reading it. It is filed under "Search Engine Optimization," (the process of improving the visibility of a website or a web page in search engines' ... search results.) This is not what Leapforce does, and shows the quality of the mind we are working with here.

I have worked for Leapforce for three years, got a raise after one, and it is my sole income- not a bad one at that.
.
It's no secret that they expect quality work and they WILL terminate without notice OR recourse if you consistently fail to meet their expectations. This is all in the initial contract, which is why I always recommend that people READ things that they are signing.

Good luck suing a reputable company for following the contract YOU SIGNED.

Those of you reading this report, be warned. This was written by a disgruntled ex-employee and in no way represents the norm.
