I found that letstalk was an easy simple to use website that provided low priced phones and a nice rebate along with the phones. I was so happy I got a family plan with T-mobile and two phones, one for personal and one for work. The website clearly stated multiple times when I got the phones that I would be charged nothing by lets talk, but would instead be directly charged by T-mobile. It didn't give me an option, it just said it wouldn't do it. So imagine my suprise, when I open my back account the day after ordering and find my account hundreds of dollars in the hole because not only did all my bills come out but they pulled some money as well. The funds they pulled equalled four $1.00 payments, and one $96.00 payment. Now, the $96 came out first and put my account negative, can you imagine what the 4 $1 payments did to my account?
I called, I yelled, I was told it was allowed, then I got stupid and let it go. So I have the phones, and they money I was supposed to use to activate them is now going to pay for hundreds of dollars in fees. But wait, the work phone can't access internet, I need internet on this phone!
So I take the phone to T-mobile, they were very nice, and the gentleman who helped me stayed an hour after it was time for him to go home just to get the phone working. Unfortunately he wasted his time, it was broken. So I packed it up, called Lets Talk and said I needed a replacement. The gentleman was great, he said he would send me an e-mail with all the info and I could ship it for free.
E-mail never came. Called back two weeks later, lady was very nice, said she would resend the e-mail and I could ship it in for free, the e-maill never came. Called back a third time, gentleman was very nice said he would resend it and I could ship it in for free, this time I got a time frame of two hours. The e-mail never came, 2 1/2 hours later I called back.
The lady I had talked to the second time was on the phone, GREAT! she knows my problem. Well she has obviously had an attitude adjustment, and not a good one since the last time I talked to her two weeks ago. She proceeds to ask a million questions about the phone, have a used it, once. Has it been out of the box since the initial phone call, no. Has it been used since the initial phone call, no. Has it been shipped to them and sent back since the initial phone call. Of course not, you never sent me the fed-ex information. Well sorry, we already sent it 3 times we can't send it again. Then she proceeds to tell me how I need to be more responsible, excuse me? I am not a five year old trying to learn what responsibility means and I don't need some phone rep telling me how to run my life. So I ask for her supervisor, she says there isn't one available e-mail supervisor@letstalk.com.
So I e-mailed the e-mail address she gave me, that was over 2 weeks ago, infact I just sent my fourth one. I have not yet received one response. I have provided phone numbers, e-mail address, mailing addresses. Multiple ways for them to get back to me. The bottom line is they won't. I got hit with $300.00 in overdraft fees and was provided a bad phone all because of their lies. If I knew how to turn them into the better business bureau, I would.

A new e-mail from them, suprise suprise

AUTHOR: Amanda c. - (U.S.A.)

POSTED: Wednesday, October 22, 2008

After multiple, carefully crafted e-mails that when printed took up 3 pages total explaining the problems, and advising of what my expectations were I got one e-mail today, this is copy and pasted directly from the e-mail I got - According to our records, there 4 shipping labels that were sent to you.- That is it, I had explained in detail that I had not received the labels, that it was impossible that they were sent to me because I receive e-mails from Fed-ex daily, and if I had received an e-mail that my inbox didn't like it would shove in the junk folder and I would receive an e-mail telling me I had something in my junk folder...none of this happened! I am done with being jerked around, I need a phone that works.
