Lift Vapor Scam

Detailed Summary: Unfortunately, I made the mistake of ordering a trial offer from Lift Vapor - * , a.k.a. Sapphire Cigarettes. I ordered a sample trial at $4.95. If I didn’t like it, I could return in within ten (10) days, and there would be no additional charge.

An important thing to note about Lift Vapor, is that they never do any correspondence in e-mails.

On 6/17/2013, the first (1st) - ** package from lift vapor was mailed. I never received it. On 6/26/2013, I saw that my ATM card was charged $148.00.

I called Lift Vapor and told them I did not want anymore charges, period. They said there wouldn’t be any. I also notified my bank to contact me if they saw any more charges appear.

During my verbal correspondences with Lift Vapor, I let them know that I had NOT received the sample package, and I asked for a refund. They said they could refund a little over seventy [$70.00], but they could not refund the full amount. When I politely complained, I was rudely told that if I had read the full offer, that I would have seen the terms that I agreed to.

I told them that I never got an e-mail receipt. I requested one be sent. While I was on the phone with them, they said they sent it again.

Nothing came through. The lady told me that my junk mail filter was probably blocking it from coming through. I also requested an e-mail confirming the partial refund, but obviously, I never got one.

In the course of more phone correspondences with them, I talked to a supervisor who said that she could not resend an e-mail receipt. They asked me if I still wanted the sample, and I said no. They said well you did pay for it.

I acquiesced, and they sent another one out immediately. I did NOT receive a sample package. I received a refill package, which was useless without the electronic cigarette that I did not receive in the sample package that I never received.

I talked to Lift Vapor again, and they said if I returned the package to them, I would still get the almost $80.00 back. I sent the package back via certified mail - ***. They received the package on Monday, July 8th, 2013.

7/15/2013 to 9/11/2013: I talked to them and they said it would take five (5) to eight (8) business days to get the refund issued, and this is where more games began – {A}: The 1st excuse that I got from them about not getting the refund was that they switched companies, in regards to who handles their electronic banking, and that was the issue in the delay.

The next excuse that I got was that this was a company wide problem and that they were having meetings to try and resolve it. {C}: The next information I got was that their bank had submitted the refund to my account electronically. To this day [9/11/2013], NOTHING from them has been deposited electronically into my account.

They even gave me a tracking # 1919624012,that my bank could use to track it. I talked to my bank, and they said the number was meaningless. {D} For the first (1st) time in close to a month, I called [888-994-5438] today [9/11/2013], for an update.

Although I am always very polite, I have called so many times, that they get nervous whenever I call. The lady said that she did not know what the hold up was, but that they were going to be sending me a physical check, that should arrive within the next five (5) to ten (10) business days. After so many different excuses, I firmly believe that no check is being mailed to me.

Final Analysis [Brief]:I paid $148.00 and received nothing. I was promised a partial refund, but it never came. I learned the hard way, but the next time I will research a company that I will be making an online purchase from.
