See complaint from client in Ripoff Report.
Weaster hired sub-contractors, subs completed work. Weaster received payments from client, did not pay subs. He owes this company $2,469.00. Be very careful if you decide to hire him. This is the kind of experience that gives contractors a bad image. This man must not care about character or reputation. I have reported him to NARI, written to Texas Residential Contractors and hope the public is not victimized by this man or the company he represents.

AUTHOR: joseph weaster - (United States of America)

this complaint was filed by a homeowner in regard to work my company performed on his home. when the homeowner refused to pay for the extras that he had requested i removed my crew from the project and refused to return until all extras were paid in full. he then filed complaints with the Texas residential construction commission, the better business bureau and the national association of remodeling contractors. All three of these agencies found no grounds for the charges and dismissed all accusations. Then Mr kirkpatrick filed a felony charge of "deceptive business practices" in travis county court. This charge was thrown out of court and all charges dropped.
in regard to the claim filed by Granite transformations their work was substandard, installing miscut, damaged and scratched countertops. when asked to repair there work to the original contract specifications granite transformations entered into an agreement with the homeowner to include more countertop and bill me for the extras.
when i refused to pay for this they filed this complaint.
they have misrepresented themselves as being the injured party, when in reality it was my reputation that was damaged due to their shoddy workmanship. there have been other complaints filed against this company for the same type of deceptive business practices.
in the course of doing over a thousand remodels in the austin and surrounding area of the few complaints that have been brought against my company ALL of them have been settled both to the homeowners and my satisfaction.
