Mags R Us Ripoff to many has anyone reported this company to US post office? Miami Florida

Young man (Jeremy Laughlin) and a girl came to the door. Represented themselves to be starting up a business, and that they needed so many points, to be awarded money for their business. They asked that I purchase two magazine subscriptions from them. I found two that I agreed to and wrote them a check ~ they stated that I was paid in full and that I should receive my magazine subscriptions in the mail within the next few weeks.

I didn't think twice that I was being scammed, as these two folks seemed quite nice. I am now receiving these blue and pink postcards in the mail, stating that I have a balance due remaining of $54.95 (half). Mags R Us...is that short for Maggots?

After seeing all the posts on this site, which I found while trying (unsuccessfully) to locate contact information for this company, I have contacted the fraud to the US Post Office, as a PO Box is being used to receive funds and mail billing notices for this "business".

Also, you can get information from the Better Business Bureau online and from the Consumer Protection Division. Also, check Inspection Service Information About Consumer Fraud for more information on fraud schemes that involve the use of the mail.
