Inspection methods they use are a JOKE and the customer gets ROBBED of thousands of dollars all because their little STRING measurements/inspections say there is no defect in the bed. This is impossible to be done if the defect has to be FELT by simply sitting or laying on the mattress but the company "DOES NOT ALLOW/DO THAT" cause then of course they would actually find that there is a major defect in the product and have to give you a new bed or the credited amount you paid to purchase a bed that should feel the way a $2000 bed should feel. Even having the customer lay down to demonstrate to the inspector the REAL problem with the mattress that cannot be seen by taking a picture of the surface of the mattress and plucking a string on the bed would be affective enough!

How does this piece of string determine a defect going on INSIDE the mattress?! In my case the mattress NEEDS to be touched/felt to properly make a decison as to whether or not there is in fact a defect beause one side of my mattress dips down lower than the other...meaning that if you lay in the middle of the bed you roll DOWN towards one side of the bed. I would think that would be common sense as a REAL inspector to check thouroughly the pressure of the bed, hell they could have used their hand and felt the difference between both sides of the bed!,  but apparently common sense is not so common...or actually that is their intent to make sure that they find "nothing wrong" with your bed so you are robbed of your money and then you have to wait 60 days before another one of their inspectors comes out to do the EXACT same thing so you are stuck with a mattress that cost an arm and a leg for the next ten years or until you have to pay another couple thousand dollars, that most of us dont have, to buy another mattress!

For that, go to a mom and pop furniture store and buy a $500 bed it will probably last longer. I've only had this mattress a little less than 3yrs! This to me is a crime and a rip off to the customers who trusted "reputable" mattress stores, in my case SLEEPY'S, with their hard earned money for them to use Mattress Marshals, a joke of inspectors to determine that you do not have a "defect" cause their string measurements say so.

They are victimizing hard working people by taking their money and assuring them that if there is any problems in the next ten years you will be taken care of. Sure they will take care of you! By offering a PORTION not even the full amount of "credit" to go into the showroom and have to come out of your pocket AGAIN and buy ANOTHER bed. That is just EVIL and unacceptable! That is in no way 'customer service" thats LIES and DECEITFULNESS!

They dont care how it affects us as the customers and what we have to go through to get what is rightfully owed to us from the moment of purchase just as long as they are making their money by doing bogus inspections because they are not the ones who have to sleep on the DEFECTIVE murchandise and eat a couple thousand dollars like I now have to. To top it off Im leaving the state of NY and Sleepys or Mattress Marshals do not operate where I am going so im stuck with a $2000 piece of garbage that hurts my body when I sleep. Who pays for my doctors bills because of this? Not Mattress Marshals! I DO!

I am outraged and hurt that I was taken advantage of and cant do a thing about it. These people should be exposed for the crooks that they are!

Dear Sir or Madame. I'm sorry you feel that Mattress Marshals did not complete their job duties to your liking. Our rules and procedures have been reviewed and excepted by all Mattress Manufacturers and Retailers to be the most accurate way to properly inspect and report on sleep sets in the nation.

 

We never lay in a customers bed or ask the consumer to lay in the bed because the sleep set most be inspected "at rest" not with weight on it.

 

Anyone can go to our website and see a full demonstration of exactly how Mattress Marshals preforms inspections at mattressmarshals.com  See for yourself, we know what we're doing. These consumers only complain after the claim is rejected by the Retailer or Manufacturers due to Customer Abuse, Stains, soiling and lack of general care of the merchandise. So they call in and complain, hoping to get something for nothing and when they don't go on social media to cry. I wish they had the courage to include their names. But they don't!

 

Mattress Marshals can possibly rip anyone off because we don't make anything, sell anything, we don't collect money from the consumers. So how did we rip anyone off? Sour grapes is all this is...
