Let me start off by saying if you ever get a call for medical career specialists or even see it in a newspaper Do not call it or Request Information. This company claims to offer programs in various medical field careers ranging from phlebotomy technician to spanish for medical professionals. They will say that they are accredited, but they are really not, they have no corporate office and there is one female that owns the entire company, if you ask her to speak to someone else she will not let you. This company will force you to pay a deposit of $150 for registration, and once you have paid that through pay pal they will charge you over 5,000 to take these 14 week and longer courses for unaccreditied certifications. They offer no type of financial aid, so they will work out a payment plan that will require you to pay monthly using your credit card or paypal account.

Do not work for these people as well because you will never see a paycheck, you will be required to do cold calls to get them buisness. This company applied for assistance with the state and were red flagged, now what does that tell you, exactly Beware. Dont say that noone told you so.

Official Documentation from the State

AUTHOR: Brandy S - ()

POSTED: Saturday, June 22, 2013

As you can see, Medical Career Specialists has already received written proof of EXEMPTION from the State. (See attached document). Also, Medical Career Specialists has received a written APOLOGY from the Director of the GNPEC for giving out inaccurate information. As you can see, a complaint was filed against the Deputy Director of GNPEC for stating that Medical Career Specialists was unaccredited and not approved to operate in the State, which is obviously FALSE INFORMATION. (See second attached document). MCS has all of it's legal documents in order regarding legitimacy and the such.

Unfortunately, all companies have complaints filed against them at some point in time, because it is nearly impossible not to. For example, Walmart, Coca Cola, McDonalds, etc (you name it), all have hundreds or maybe thousands of complaints. Pleasing everyone is impossible. But, as you can see, we have numerous great reviews http://www.merchantcircle.com/business/MEDICAL.CAREER.SPECIALISTS.8005956276 as well as an A+ with the Better Business Bureau and much more.

If mature, intelligent adults decide to rely on anonymous information without any proof or documentation from an anonymous (and unreliable/unproven source), that is their choice. But we have all of our State, Federal, and legal documentation in order and on file where it belongs. Thus, if anyone has any questions, feel free to just ask. Thanks. 1(800)595-6276

Unemployment is NOT an Excuse for Slander: Demand to Cease and Desist

AUTHOR: anonymous - (United States of America)

POSTED: Thursday, March 31, 2011

Mrs. P******

We are aware of the scarcity of employment opportunities in the current job market and sympathetic to those who are unemployed in these less than perfect economic times. Furthermore, we understand that you may have feelings of resentment  as well as displaced anger due to your termination of employment with our company. However, we are unable and unwilling to continue being victimized by your hostility and slanderous accusations.

Your statements about Medical Career Specialts, Inc. (hereinafter referred to as "MCS") in your "Rip-off Report" are untrue and defamatory. You made them maliciously with the intention of injuring MCS in its trade, office and profession; as such, they are slanderous. Under O.C.G.A.51-5-11, this rebuttal constitutes a demand for immediate retraction in writing of these false and libelous statements. In accordance with O.C.G.A 51-5-11(b)(1)(C), MCS demands that your retraction and correction be accompanied by an editorial in which
you specifically repudiated your libelous statements.

Your web postings, harassment of current MCS employees, and other wrongful conduct also constitute tortious interference with the business and contractual relations of MCS. As such, these actions expose you to the imposition of compensatory as well as punitive damages. If MCS is forced to file suit to stop your ilegal conduct, it will also seek an award of its attorney fees and litigation expenses. Please govern yourself accordingly.

Review of Credentials

AUTHOR: apreston1984 - (United States of America)

POSTED: Friday, August 06, 2010

If you look at the website for MedicalCareerSpecialists(MCS), you will see that they stated they are accredited by The State of Georgia: Nonpublic Postsecondary Education Commission (GNPEC). I checked the site and called the commission office and they have no sign of this school. Who wants to pay over $1,000 for an unaccredited company. The company also claims that they have been established for 10 years now, so there should be a corporate office and headquarters, along with other resources of this company; they should be established already.

Please if you are reading this make sure to do a full background check on this company, I would hate for them to do the same to you, as what they did to me. Showing a picture of a medical professional does nothing to prove your accredidations.

Allied Healthcare Certifications based on Training or Experience

AUTHOR: Contented_customer - (United States of America)

POSTED: Wednesday, August 04, 2010

Medical Career Specialists has a letter on file from the State of Georgia Non-public Postsecondary Education Commission (NPEC) giving the authority to provide Certification Exam Review and Refresher training for Allied Healthcare certifications. No further authorization is necessary for the company to provide this type of training as per Georgia State Code 20-3-250.3(a)(9).  The program is for people who have experience in the medical field through their job, the military, or schooling to become certified.

The participants must be a qualifed professionals based on criteria set forth by the certification agency.  The certification received is from the largest agency in the united states for allied health careers. They provide certifications for over 11,000 schools, the U.S. military, and other qualified professionals. The certifications are national and accepted in all 50 states.

Participants are required to pay a $150 registration fee to secure their seat, which is deducted from the overall cost once their application is approved. The registration fee is refunded if the application is not accepted. The registration can be paid through Paypal or by credit card and is by choice, not force; and is a good faith deposit to determine the number of participants.

Our most popular programs are Phlebotomy and Medical Assistant, and in that order.  The cost is well under $1,000 for 99% of those attending our programs.  All programs offered are less than 14 long weeks. Our main clients are doctors offices, research agencies, hospitals, and others healthcare facilities that pay for their employees to attend our training. These certifications meet their requirements for  U.S. government, pharmaceutical companies, and others that provide funding as well.
