Mermaid Manor The Flag House Frightening Experience - Hateful Owners - False Advertising - Needs to be shut down! carolina beach, North Carolina

Catherine Marvel, owner of the Mermaid Manor and The Flag House (Carolina Beach/Kure Beach) is hurting people. She is falsely advertising beautiful and clean facilities and the truth is, they are filthy and unsafe. We were sold a 4 bedroom Oceanfront home. Upon arrival, we found that we were only given the roadside half of the house. There wasn't even access to the ocean from our half of the house, and there was filth, rust, dangerous hazards everywhere. This house would not pass a health inspection! I have contacted the Chamber of Commerce and BBB...they have 4 existing complaints each, and I want to do anything I can to stop this from happening to anyone else. The owner refused to give me a refund and was very hateful towards us on top of everything else. Please warn anyone that might be thinking of staying at this horrid place!
