I ran an adult blog, which was legitimate and was ran with every law and policy in mind.

Working with submissions we posted a winner to a contest, and on Dec 18th we get an email saying someone is claiming that they are the model, and they want to have their picture removed.

The offices were closed from Dec 15th to Dec 27th to allow for everyone to take a vacation to see their families.

Mr. Steve White gave me three days to fix the issue, but everyone was out of the office, and so his email was fell on blind eyes. I returned to the office on Dec 27th, read the email and was prepared to fix the issue, but my site was already removed.

So I had emailed Mr. White in the hopes that he would understand the situation, and ultimately was
unwilling to assist a paying customer, me.

Mr. White failed to verify if the model was indeed who she said she was. We have a policy that all submissions be followed up with two forms of ID, before we post them. The least he could have done was verify with one.... Which he did not.

They have not offered a refund, nor a service replacement. After voicing my valid concerns I get:

Dear Shanna,
Due to your failure to respond to our messages we have had to terminate your account from our servers, please find alternative hosting for your website.
Regards

I have called my lawyer but her advice was to let this go, but I believe that their superfluous actions of removing my account based on the word of a random, and unverified stranger via email was not only sophomoric, but in poor taste.

I wouldn't have minded a freeze on my account until the time when I could have been in contact with everyone to fix the issue. It stands to reasonable logic that people may be harder to get in contact with during certain times of the year. Even I do not expect someone to be around their email 100% of the time.

Being blogger has the unfortunate jealous troll. One who will do anything to get a competitive blog booted from servers. I have been in contact with the alleged model. I have requested proper verification, unlike the minmaxgroup. If she shows proper verification then her request will be fulfilled.

If they believe every email that they get, I am sure some Nigerian money scammer is making a killing off of them!
