Due to the fact that most home-based businesses are scams, I thought that the National Home Employment Association would be different. Apparently not. I sent a check for the registration fee of $39.95 to be a data processor, with all sorts of "free bonuses." I was supposed to receive a package in the mail, information that I needed for this job. It has been almost a month since then, and I have not received anything in the mail.
I went back to the website, looking for a contact number of an email address. No number, only a contact form that I filled out, twice on different occasions. Once the form was submitted, they said that they would contact me via email in 24 hours. No such luck! I just want a refund!

The correct name of the company is National Home Employment Association (not HEA) and they do NOT have any phone numbers on their website. I just checked again and found nothing of the sort. Also I noticed the website is 7 years old and hasn't been updated since 2006.

I'm not sure how the phone and fax numbers for this company (Home Employment Association) were missed. They are prominent on their site. PHONE: (702) 656-2472. I also wonder if perhaps her response from them ended up in her spam folder. Just a thought...
