Feb. 20: Free 30 day trial... $6.95 a month after the Free Period.
Feb. 26: Called to Cancel, as I found service with my old provider for $5.95 a month. The man on the phone offered 90 days on top of the remaining 30, and said after the Free Trial Period it would cost only $5.45 a month. "Go ahead and compare our service to theirs for Free. You have nothing to lose", he said.

March 17: I find out that NetZero billed my credit card $6.95 on Feb. 22. (my bank statement arrived on March 11, but I returned home from vacation late the night of the 17th)
March 18: I call NetZero get the runaround, left on hold for over an hour, transferred, disconnected, called back, was on hold for 35 minutes listening to the most annoying tune, I hung up and nothing was resolved. March 20: Call NetZero again, more department transfers... finally a credit will be made to my account within 30 days and No further billing during the Free Trial Period.
March 22: $6.95 is billed to my account.
April 10: Became aware of the charge on March 22, as I received my bank statement. Called NetZero Talked to Billing and was assured my $6.95 would be credited to my account within 30 Days with no further billing, asked to Cancel, was transferred to another department, (they make you verify who you are every single time they transfer you, and they do it multiple times) and I Cancelled Service Once and For All!

April 22: $6.95 billed in Feb. is Credited to my Account. (I guess in June I'll get my March Charge Reimbursed? April 29: $25.00 was Taken from My Account by NetZero.

May 10: My Bank Statement Arrives and I am now aware of the NetZero Charge. I Immediately Call NetZero, am on hold for 22 minutes, get an answer, verify who I am, get transferred, verify who I am, ask to speak to a supervisor, get transferred, am not required to verify who I am, then told it will be sent up to management for review and that I will hear from them within 48 hours with their decision.

I can only guess what they will tell me... "It's a standard Cancellation Fee For Service Contract Membership Termination" maybe? For a FREE TRIAL MEMBERSHIP
