Recieved an e-mail from a Sarah Manning who asked me to participate in a survey of western unions service.
The next day a cashier check drawn form Fifth Third Bank for $2440.00 was received. Looked very authentic called the bank to verify and was told it was not authentic.
From what I preceive from the e-mail I was to cash the check wire the funds, minus $300 for my services. Then participate in a survey of Western Union .
This is unbelievable. How do people get away with this. The only justice is she paid $19.95 for shipping and I wasn't foolish enough to try to cash the check and wire the $2140.00. So she's out the $19.95.
I am hoping no one falls for this scam and this person is caught

This outfit passes counterfeit checks, and you were quite wise to be suspicious.
