I was laid off from my employer of 5+ years in 2011.  I placed my resume on Six Figure Jobs,

ExecuNet, IT Ladders, Careerbuilder, and Monster, and shortly thereafter, I received numerous phone calls from a woman named Elaine working for Next Opp.  I said I wasn't interested, but she kept calling.  The woman insited that I listen to her and told me that the company works only with elite Executives who they have already pre-placed among their bank of employers who regularly draw from their pre-qualified hand-picked candidates.  Having vast Executive Leadership, Information Technology, Information Security, Software Development, Project Management and Entrepreneur xperience, I began to listen.  Although I normally do not buy into stuff like this, I was told that Next-Opp already had a $160K plus 30% bonus position that I qualified for.  So, I agreed to meet with David Cutler.  Through research I found out that David Cutlers real name is Ken Levinson.  





While at Next-Opp I met with David Cutler aka Ken Levinson.  David communicated that I was handing my employment search wrong.  He told me that applying to jobs online was a waste of my time and effort.  David communicated in addition to the position I am qualified for, he had a vast network of companies and professionals that he would promote me to.  He communicated I would obtain many job interviews from these solicitations.  David communicated he has a system with a plan to get me the right job with the right pay.  David communicated that his company would find me a job $160k+.  David said that he would obtain a 10K+ hiring bonus for me.  David told me that their placement rate was over 98%, and that they could place me in approximately 8 to 10 weeks, with a specific company.  I asked about the specific job cited on the call, and I was told after I employed Next-Opp the opportunities would becomeavailable.  David requested I write a check to Cash.  On Feb 22, 2012 I paid David $2850.00 in cash and expected to receive an executive resume, a unique web presence website, gain access to Fortune 500 and Fortune 1000 employers, and obtain a seasoned professional career coach.  David asked me to spend 4 weeks on a particular exercise that my career coach, Lou would go over with me in our next meeting.  He instructed me not to apply to any jobs and not to go on a single interview.  



Lou the career coach taught me nothing.  The resume Lou recommended was inaccurate and unprofessional.  The weekly coaching sessions were a complete waste of my time.  The coach sessions were coffee clutch sessions and consisted of personal conversation and not professional growth or help.  The website that was set up for me was inaccurate.  It took many telephone calls and emails to get the mistakes corrected.  When completed the website looked unprofessional and unorganized.  I later found out one of Davids sons 16 year old friends created my website.  The website was unavailable at least 80% of the time.  After 4 weeks of engagement with Next-Opp I contacted David and I requested a $1200 refund for the unavailable and poorly done website.  Per my contract the design of my website was $1200.  David refused to refund me the $1200.



After 6 weekly sessions with my career coach, I called David and explained that I am not receiving the services that Next-Opp was contractually required to provide me.  I requested a full refund of $2850.  David Cutler aka Ken Levinson refused to provide me with a refund.  He asked me to

give him two additional weeks to rectify the breach of contract, website, and career coach problems.  I agreed.  Unfortunately, the issues were never resolved.  After 8 weeks of engagement, I met with David and I told him I was fed up, and that Next Opp was not the professional organization it claimed to be.  I demanded a full refund.  David refused to provide me with a refund.  At 10 weeks of the engagement David ignored my telephone calls and refused to respond to my emails.  At 12 weeks of engagement I investigated suing Next-Opp for breach of contract.  



In short: David Cutler aka Ken Levinson is a crook.  He preys on the recently unemployed.  He is not honorable.  His company combs executive sites for people his company wishes take money from, and  lies to get them to subscribe.  He employs unreliable, questionable individuals.  Per his discussions with me, I would call him a liar.  He has no business working with quality executives.  



Despite David telling me to be prepared to go on many interviews all over New Jersey and New York City, I did not obtain one single interview the entire period I was engaged with Next-Opp.  Next-Opp and David Cutler aka Ken Levinson are a scam.  They take your money, and give you nothing.  



If anybody else reading this wishes to file a class action suit against Next Opp and David Cutler:  I have my supporting documentation, and an eagerness to obtain a refund, plus damages plus legal for services not rendered and much time wasted.  David Cutler missed his chance to kindly refund my requested amount.
