Once again another trick to increase the APR charged on my credit card. The answer to the question on Card Access Services for who are they is" The company known as Card Access Services, located in Norcross, Georgia, has been engaged by First National Bank of Omaha to provide customer service for NextCard credit card account holders " I'm not sure where the Customer service is , you are still not allowed to contact a human. Complaints by mail only with your daytime phone number so they can contact you. If only I had a spare moment in my work day yesterday so that I could have called the 800 number on my bill ,then I would have found out in time to process my payment on time. Found out what you ask. Well that would be that the webite is now www.cardaccessservices.net not www.cardmemberservices.net that is on the current billing statement. So now I have to waste time (disputing late fees, changes to an already hiked interest rate) when last time no one returned my correspondence. The least they could do is accept e-mails ......Okay just so this sounds like I'm crazy I went back to the website just to make sure that you cannot e-mail them . I was gone to long, so it timed out and gave me an phone number for the Card Member Service Center ***I talked to a human***. Of course I have to call back to request a refund after the late fee posts. I don't know if they will since I put up a stink about the change in website addresses and the representative tried to tell me that the member services website has never been used for NextCard and customers would not be directed to use it. When I told her it wasn't a valid website , not even one that redirected she did not hesitate to say again that it's not a website for NextCard cardholders , it's a website for other card holders. So it must be a magical website that knows that from three different computers I tried to log in and I'm a NextCard customer not " another card holder". No not so ,I've checked my previous bills I used the "old" no working website to pay they changed it and list the old one so people think it's just a computer issue until it's too late. I have nothing more than Jessica the representative for Card Member services lying to me about website addresses and cutting the call when I mentioned Attorney general...... .but I'm going to make sure everyone knows that if you have a NEXTCARD the number to reach a human and talk about your account is 1-877-875-8078 . Although my guess is that if they get to many calls they will change that number too.
