Oakwood Clayton vanderbilt Home built in 2003 found black mold in bathrooms, removed affected drywall to find NO insulation on outside wall, crappy wood . Maryville, Tennessee

Found black mold problem in bath and bedroom. Took ou affected drywall on outside wall and found areas as wide as 32 inches with no insulation. Shoddy 2 x 4 hanging by 1nail at top and not even Lon enough to touch the floor. Area where you can see ground at bottom of wall and siding showing. Oakwood filed bankruptcy the year and month our home was delivered. They werent concerned about our home. The builders were probably pissed themselves. We've already had to replace carpet, kitchen cabinets, sinks in a 90k house. We have tried contacting all parties and they say it's like buying a car and expecting the loan co. To pay for a flat tire. Hum. Maybe if there were no tire that might make sense. But I think we would have known about the missing tire without having to tear out the engine. We're not giving up yet. We now have to make holes in and repair outside walls to see if insulated. This may explain my electric bill and why we still have to use a kerosene heater to actually have a warm spot in the winter.
