I did not my credit card to be charged for $79.75.  When they called me to verify if I was interested in the services, I said absolutely not and hung up.  They charged my card without my authorization for $79.95 and refused to give me a refund.

They are scam artists and thieves.

Sincerely,

Ms. Jeffries

POSTED: Wednesday, September 19, 2012

This response is provided to refute the allegations made by Ms. J****.

On August 26, 2012, Ms. J**** signed up for an annual subscription to OneGreatFamily.com which included a 7-day trial period.  Ms. J**** was required, as part of the sign up process, to enter her payment information and agree to the terms and conditions associated with purchasing the subscription on a 7-day trial basis. Ms. J**** acknowledged, as part of the sign up process, that she understood that if she did not cancel the subscription prior to the expiration of the 7-day trial period, the credit card she provided would be charged for the annual subscription for which she subscribed.

On September 4, 2012, based on the fact that Ms. J**** had not cancelled her subscription during the 7-day trial period and in accordance with the terms and conditions required and agreed to by Ms. J**** at the time she signed up for the OneGreatFamily service, the credit card provided by Ms. J**** was processed.  Unfortunately, the payment by means of the credit card Ms. J**** provided was declined.  Finally, the credit card Ms. J**** provided to pay for the OneGreatFamily service she signed up for on August 26, 2012, and purchased on September 4, 2012, due to her not cancelling the service was finally charged successfully on September 16, 2012.

When the OneGreatFamily representative called Ms. J**** to extend a friendly welcome and answer any questions about the service for which Ms. J**** has subscribed, Ms. J**** told the representative that she wanted to cancel the subscription (even though the 7-day trial period had expired previously) and then hung up on the representative.  As requested, the OneGreatFamily representative cancelled the service with an effective date consistent with the end of the annual subscription purchased by Ms. J****.

OneGreatFamily has complied with both the terms and conditions associated with the annual subscription contracted for by Ms. J****on August 26, 2012, and also with her request on September 17, 2012, to cancel her subscription.   However, Ms. J**** is not due a refund of the subscription price due to the fact that she confirmed her understanding and acceptance of the terms and conditions at the time she subscribed to the OneGreatFamily service.

Ms. J****' allegations of theft and the unauthorized charging of her credit card are false and libelous in light of her representations at the time she subscribed to the service and the facts related to this transaction.
