I was lured into this scam by hard selling salesman. After committing to deal I did research and found what they don't do and what I still had to do.

I immediately tried to cancel with no response. I then received a welcome email with notification of information on my vehicle that I never submitted.

Looked at their website and found the same exact information copied from another advertiser I had signed up for.

I have filed several complaints with my credit card company and the better business bureau of Las Vegas with no results.

I would love to have a lawsuit brought against this company.

Why I left One Stop Motors

AUTHOR: former osm employee - (United States of America)

POSTED: Thursday, May 12, 2011

Without giving any personal information for fear of reprisal, I worked for One Stop Motors for nearly a year.  I can tell you that One Stop is VERY misleading to all customers and most of thier employees as well.  As a professional salesman, a certain amount of 'acting' is needed to complete transactions and make money.  However, when the acting involves decieving customers and the poor schlep that's trying to earn a living selling ghost remedies, then it tends to leave a trail of destruction effecting both customer and employees and thier respective families.

If OSM were really as successful as they claim, selling consumer used automobiles, they would not need to call people and shove an impossible dream down already financially strapped consumers throats.  I've found in the sales world that selling the 'product/service everyone will want/need' is usually the product/service noone has ever heard of and is not tested in any market anywhere.  If I told you I have a NEW product that is garaunteed to help your plants grow faster, you'd love it.  when I delivered a truckload of dung, you'll be upset.  Me too. That is what OSM does to thier clients, they take dung and sell it to sound like a revolutionary growth product, manufactured to make thier wallets fatter.

First of all, they hire anyone, I mean ANYONE who can speak, that is. Then they sell the EMPLOYEE on thier dog and pony show.  Customers, you got the sub 5 minute reader's digest version, we had the 6-8 hour 'why anyone can sell OSM' version. consider yourselves lucky there.  Then you may have been contacted by a post-OSM school of reading braille new hire first.  Get info on the car. which, by the way IS genious. Of course you're gonna talk up your car, YOU'RE the salesman now!! Showing faux excitement, that 'newbie' is supposed to tell you just a wee bit about selling it for more and faster.  Then the one ton boulder comes in to 'price' your car 'realistically'.  One ton boulder = closer.  The one who is supposed to really convince you that your $500 is NOT what OSM is after, they're after the points on financing and residuals on the other 'services' they provide the 'buyer'.  HELLO!!! financing points are the single biggest cash maker for dealerships (along with warrantees) If I could sell your car online and make points? I wouldn't bother asking you for money.  I'd be selective as to what cars I took in though.  OSM takes in anything with a motor, running or not.  Your 1985 Dodge Omni 024 with 250K miles, a broken tail light and a broom handle to keep the hatchback up will never be financed by ANYONE!!!  Cash or scrap only.

Anyway OSM has huge rooms dedicated to people selling YOU the ad package.  But they have a staff of about 6 to deal with the selling/customer satisfaction.  Logic will tell you that it's all about selling the package and NOT the fertilizer.

Look over these complaints here and on the BBB sites, **NOTICE** NONE of the people complaining are auto BUYERS.  They are all selling thier cars.  If they sold anywhere near the number of your cars as they claim, you would think even one or two people would have some kind of issue.  The car was scratched, more miles than promised, wrong car, paid too much, ROB WILDER told the buyer he/she is lying?  NOT EVEN ONE buyer complaint.  Why? cause they really do not care if the wheels sell, and they use the sites and advertisers the sellers are already using to sell the same darn car.

I was there when the Ripoffreports were flowing in hard.  Rob and his cast of demons tried to convince the sales force that it was a fabrication and that ROR wanted a large sum of 'hush money' to control the damage that this site caused them.

I implore you, I regret ever picking up a phone at OSM, and while I cannot make up for any of the sales I made, I can hope to at least slow down the number of 'victims' that take a hit from OSM and thier witch doctor cure.  If you know someone selling a car, tell them there are way better ways than OSM or other internet advertising packages.

Rob, for you, you still cannot argue the points I made about buyer complaints vs. seller.  Of course you show us a thousand complaints by buyers you hurt yourself anyway.  Catch 22, Rob, prove me wrong!
