Actually there this is a multiple complaint. I do know that OneRebate.com and Tigerdirect are "inter-woven" The latest issue is about a "Bonus" Rebate on Ultra 512mb memory I had ordered from Tigerdirect. I received the first rebate. However I have not received the second or "Bonus" one. I had received a confirmation email that it had been sent well over a month ago. Twice I had contacted them via email(forwarding their own confirmation email) over the issue and twice they sent me the same ole auto reply.."we will contact you in 72 hours" Yah right. Been multiple "72 hours" Even wasted well over 20 minutes on phone locked into perpetual hold listening to BS adds and music twice. Time is money and airtime on me phone costs too. Not to mention the aggravation.
About this Ultra Ram stick. The first one I ordered was bad. RMA'd it. In order to do that in a timely fasion "Tigerdirect" bills your CC till they get the one you are returning. Should have been an even swap ...Yes...Not...ended up with a $1.70 loss. Now a $1.70 is not much. Its the principal that matters. Take that $1.70 and multiply it say 10,000 customers (a good motivation for crafty deceptive practices aye) According to SiSoftware Sandra Pro (a computer analysis, diagnostic and benchmarking software) The Said Ultra Ram hasn't any serial number nor manufaturer and it was made Dec 1999...Hmmm. No wonder it sells cheap sometimes. Wonder if it was even a true "Ultra" product.
As a result of all this, I will never purchase anything from or have any dealings with any entity that deals with or is an affiliate of OnRebate.com & Tigerdirect.com.

Have not answered emails or nothing . Empty promises of replying within 72 hrs. Tigerdirect rebate guarantee a waste of time and rescources...Their different policy and requirements work in opposition to onrebate.com thus making it a near to impossibility for any restitution. Yet they are more then happy to comply to filling your email box with spam (advertisements)
