Palisades goes fishing
AUTHOR: Keith - (U.S.A.)
SUBMITTED: Friday, August 10, 2012
Welcome to the world of collections as Palisades knows it, apparently having the correct info & data is not a mandatory requirement for collecting bills. As you peruse the various reports here about Palisades you soon realize they're not the sharpest pencil in the box.
In my case, apparently they're chasing after an ATT account that's past due but not mine. And my one & only attempt to explain that to their live/moron caller he just laughed. After that I've gotten robo-calls over the years. ATT says they're doing whats called "fishing" calling anyone & everyone that has a similar phone number or name in hopes of hitting paydirt.
Perhaps one day there will be federal regulations for collection agencys that are -really- enforced. My first suggestion there would be: Palisades must have complete & accurate information before they can begin harassing us.
