I receive emails to enter several different sweepstakes from PCH SEARCH & WIN AND PCH LOTTO ETC.

All they ask is thatone scroll thru pages and pages of offers with sometimes free shipping and handling. They also claim that one can win prizes everyday if you search via their site. They clearly state that ordering does not increase your chances to win. What actually happens after you submit your information to enter a sweepstake without ordering is that they take you in circles if you are not ordering and the system does not allow you to enter the sweepsteak. The system then asks you to update your information and after several attemps to update your name and address, the system does not recognize the edited information and continues to take you in circles.

Then is pulls up an error message that states if you exit the site, you have forfeited your chances to submit your entry into the sweepstake. However they have your information and send this information to other affiliated sites and they inturn solicite your services with a teaser supposed Sweepsteak as well. It's all a rip off. Try contacting the site and you get a recording that directs you to their online registration form which does exactly the same thing.....Don't bother... It's all a scam to get your information only...

Read the Official Entry rules

AUTHOR: Michael - (USA)

POSTED: Saturday, July 01, 2017

PLEASE read the Official Rules on the PCH Sweepstakes page first!!  Now key words I see for LATEST game to be won in August 2017 (Game 8800).  Win UPTO 15 Million Dollars, meaning it will be just another 1 Million Dollar Giveaway.  Game 8800 states if your number matches their winning nember YOU WILL WIN THE SUPER PRIZE OF 1 MILLION DOLLARS.  Most people think this is a 15 Million Dollar Giveaway when it is not, the word UPTO covers their butts legaly to give away only 1 Million Dollars.

I won on PCH

AUTHOR: krisz - (USA)

POSTED: Sunday, January 22, 2017

I won a relatively small prize on the PCH games once. It was only about $600., but that beats winning nothing! And all it cost me was some of my free time. It cracks me up when people complain that PCH wants to sell you something when you're entering their free sweepstakes. Where do you think they get the money from for the prizes? They get advertising dollars and they sell products. The other thing I think is funny is when people only read the headlines and not the small print. Yeah, they have fantastic headlines to grab your attention and get you to enter (and shop), but they are cleverly worded to build excitement. If you read the rest of what they're telling you, (the "small print", you will notice that they aren't telling you that you WILL win or you HAVE won, it basically says you can only have a chance of winning if you enter. Learn to read, folks. All the information is there, and your confusion comes from not getting the full story because you aren't reading the explanation they provide.

Entries submit with no issue

AUTHOR: Verlynn85 - (United States)

POSTED: Monday, January 16, 2017

This may be due to the original posters complaint being old, but I also receive several emails from PCHlotto, PCHsearch, and PCH and all my entries tell me they are submitted. It is true that some entries take you through a list of products that you can purchase that also do not increase your chances of winning. Though, after the "submit entry" button, it does say in small letters at the top of the next screen that your entry has been submitted and gives you the option to enter for additional entries for same sweepstakes or different ones. I'm sure entrants are going through it so quickly they are missing the fact they have entered sweepstakes and are submitting multiple.

I have a PCH account created and have never been asked to update. If I go into my account, I can check and change it as needed and have never had an issue. It has never asked for my information during entries. It is truly disappointing that it is impossible to win and the majority of people never will. There is also confusion on the emails that state about forfeiting entry into the sweepstakes, but it's referring to that specific entry, not all entries submitted to that point. The only way to receive multiple entries is through the emails, so not submitting each one forfeits multiple entries. It is a common misconception because many rush through it.

Not exactly my experience

AUTHOR: Twitchypoo - (USA)

POSTED: Thursday, August 27, 2015

While they do run you through a lot of Sponsor Videos and you often run into dead ends (my cue to leave), I haven't had any real problems entering my information or entering their contests. They almost always recognize me as soon as I get on the site (probably a cookie).

Of course, they do try to sell you merchandise and magazine subscriptions, that's how they make their money. but just keep hitting your "End" key and clicking on "Continue" until you get past all that.

I've been doing this for a while, and all you ever seem to win are tokens, which can only be used to enter more contests. You have to be careful to skip many of their 'offers' and answer in the negative to their 'survey' questions or you'll get buried in junk email (another way they make money).

PCH Winner Comes Forward

AUTHOR: Robert - (USA)

POSTED: Saturday, June 27, 2015

Just to let everyone know, there is at least one winner from the Publishers Clearing House Sweepstakes. Yes, it's me. I have been entering contests with PCH for over 15 years and I finally won $1.00. This is not a joke. $1.00 makes me a winner.

It may be a scam, but you can no longer say there are no winners.

PCH vs Lottery

AUTHOR: sue - ()

POSTED: Saturday, August 02, 2014

Really .. I read many things here...

But do you all play the lottery and never win??

I have never won a thing, but many many people play.

Yes I do the games. and enter, and bought things, and sent in winning scratch off tickets to be entered into drawings, and have been a member since 1996.

But you have to enter to play and win... all games

To be mean is a poor loser....... I pray to be lucky one day .

I see many winners.. every day .. on PCH.COM site .

Yes I get bummed I never was the one picked.

I agree there should be offically NUMBERS to keep track of ..number picked.

But those are there rules.... I wasn't happy seeing them on game shows, "Let;s Make a Deal"

and The Price is Right" handing our 10 thousand dollars in checks .. to those..on Tv  in the show.

I too thought you must enter ;search; play all the sweepstakes; and games to get tokens .. to win

But I am just a housewife, in remission from Leukemia, 3yrs now, and we can either get worked up and write mean things... and play  or don't play.

So Good Luck .. God Bless.. and

May have the lucky stars Shine On

Sue in Pa

PCH E Mails

AUTHOR: KidDave70 - ()

POSTED: Saturday, July 12, 2014

I agree every single day I get PCH Search or lose your entries. I searched before and don't win anything. Then the E Mails just for an entry, since I downloaded WOT (Web Of Trust) add on every single site they re-direct me to are dangerous to harm your computer. They don't even have reputable sponsors. Enter every day and you will NEVER win. THEN.... You get those stupid games to "Instantly Win" with all the ads between each game and the stupidity of it all is just a waste of time...

Yes it is a scam! NBC would be the first to participate.

AUTHOR: SuperT - ()

POSTED: Friday, November 29, 2013

You think because NBC allows their advertising, they don't know its a scam?  How naive you are.

NBC is paid for the advertising and there are many other indications this is a major scam.  PCH no longer televises the arrival and award in real-time or even close to real-time anymore.  Now, months after the award was everallegedly made, you get nearly-anonymous characters in pictures receiving an oversized checks from these blowhards.  No one has any way to verify any award was even made.  Most other legitimate sweepstakes kind of give-aways do have validation and public record checking, NOT PCH, not for well over a decade and a half now.

Donny Deutsch, NBC alleged marketing expert, who's made a lot of extra pocket cash for using the PCH name on NBC live, was pressed in an investigation to give out any information he could to prove that PCH was a real giveaway, as he always boasted on live TV.  Instead of giving any details he swore on live TV that he knew so well, when it was for the record, HE RAN AWAY from reporters only offering "no comment" has they chased him down a street.

NBC lies for Obama, lies for the NFL at times, and covers for ridiculous behavior of their own news department employees.  So do I think NBC, who's not even 'vouching' for PCH anymore, they are just running their ads, validates PCH?  Heck no.

What few winners have been announced over the past few years, have also allegedly only won $1,000.000 before taxes, not after, before taxes.  No one seems to be winning about $8 million to $24 million dollars at all  (which is any winner of $5K - $7K per month under the age of 55.)  So what is going on little Miss PCH Defender?  How long have you worked at PCH? Even with the lump-sum payout payment reduction, and after taxes, a winner of say 60 years old should still be clearing over $5 million dollars minimum, not less than $1 million, even if that $1 million was ever awarded at all.

Any organization giving this amount away, would verify and prove their integrity.  Sure, the odds could be a billion to one and you may never win for years of participating, just like lotto players, but I don't believe this is what is happening.  ALL products on this PCH sellers list, EXCEPT for the new magazines, are all overstocked items sitting around decades-old warehouses for companies who went out of business and the new stock's owners are trying to liquidate it for some form of profit.  There are not 10's nor 100's of millions of advertising dollars to get rid of this stuff, the fees are much more minor so the award revenue is a complete hoax.  No owner of these 50 year old informerical videos, plastic junk products, or 10-year-old food items will pay that much to get rid of the crap.  Ever see the PCH corporate building?  You can't even sell that junker for $1 million dollars for that building and the lot it sits on. Summarily, this company does not pull in the revenue they swear they are giving out.  If they did, it would equivate to somewhere between $64 million dollars on up to $170 million depending upon age of the recipient, and add that to the fees for the slight NBC and cable channel TV advertising, and the company would have to function on about $300-$400 million dollars per year.  They are not bringing that much in.

Do the math folks, check the integrity signs on being unable to fact-check them.   Close out your PCH accounts.

Publishers Clearing House

AUTHOR: Raquel - ()

POSTED: Friday, May 31, 2013

I've have in the past placed orders with PCH and mailed in requests for a chance to win.  They made promises that I was the next one to win, because I had been such a long-time customer I would be next in line to win big. I made puchases, and played their stupid games, that PCH made it look like I was supposed to win something, but it never happened.  I was a customer for over a decade, and not once did I ever see, not even a penny, in winnings. The last staw was when I had made a purchase of three items, which I didn't remember ordering, because their orders would always arrive so late, and then the bill came so late that I was charged a very big late fee.  That was so shamful and that is my rubuttal.

Right-on! Tell the story of my own experiance with PCH

AUTHOR: Dennis45764 - (United States of America)

POSTED: Thursday, February 28, 2013

I totally agree that PCH runs their quarry in circles before they kill them, I'd also like to ad that every time you fill out any personal information in their blanks you simply load their database with information that they sell to whom ever has the money to buy your info. Nearly every time you do this you will notice the volume of your email will increase as well because your info was just sold. on two occasions, I won $100.00 on PCH's "scratch and win and have yet to receive my winnings! Yes, I did notify PCH but never got a response from them. I personally believe that PCH is perpetrating a bigger SCAM than the infamous Nigerian 419 scam.

PCH Scam, I think not

AUTHOR: Lord - (United States of America)

POSTED: Saturday, August 18, 2012

I object to this article because this is a legitimate company that I respond to everyday, and yes they will direct you to areas to buy things, but they never ask me for my information about myself.  The way they are able to give away all this money is because they collect monies from advertisers that sell their products through Publishers Clearing House.  PCH is kind of a large marketing organization that represents these companies.

I wish people would not always think that everyone big business is bad.  I don't think you would see a big TV network like NBC putting their neck on the line for a scam.
