Pennco Tech Ripoff Throwing money away! Bristol Pennsylvania

My son attended Pennco Tech for Autobody in Bristol Pa. We checked out other schools prior to Pennco tech but due to the location we decided on Pennco Tech.

From the first time we saw the school I should of known that it was not right. The rooms were worse than anything i've ever seen (and I did 20 years in the Marine Corps) and the staff was less than concerned. My son had some prior body word experience but I was under the impression with formal training it would better his chances in the market.

We would talk and he would tell us how he was bored and the instructors rarely gave them things to do. Of course you can take that with either here or there.

So I decided to go to Pennco Tech myself and check it out. Over a two day period I observed numerous students not just in the Auto Body school but Auto Mechanic school also just standing around, smoking, talking and doing whatever. Apparently if you don't have "your own" vehicle there to work on there is not much to do.

They do not bring vehicles in from dealerships or outside sources to work on. So unless someone lets you help on their own vehicle you are out of luck.

The instructor did basically nothing except wonder around the area and said nothing, and gave no input to anyone.
Talked to my son on the eve of the second day and we ended up going in the next day and him disenrolling from the school.

So now we owe about 6k for the time he spent there and learned less than he already knew prior to going.

What is so bad about the whole experience is a trade like that demands an education and unfortunetely Pennco Tech is just more concerned with getting students and money.
